FleetCommander is fleet management software built for school-bus and student transportation companies. Build routes from student stops, assign drivers and buses for morning and afternoon runs, and give every driver "My Day" on their phone, with no app to install. Drivers do pre-trip inspections with photos, mark student attendance, clock in and out, and ask for time off. The office sees who's on duty, approves time off, gets substitutes suggested, and has hours and pay ready for payroll. Bill the school districts you work for from each school's calendar: every route's school days × its price per day, with snow days and closures left out and any day a route shows no sign of running flagged for the office. Invoices go out as branded PDFs with your logo, and payments, part payments and overdue invoices are tracked. Maintenance schedules, work orders, parts, fuel, compliance reminders and ready-made reports are all included. It's easy to set up (about ten minutes) and customizable: your own inspection checklists, roles and permissions, notification and compliance rules, pay rules and kinds of time off.
