Optipacker is packaging planning software for industrial parts. It is made for packaging engineers, logistics planners and purchasing teams at industrial and automotive suppliers who work with returnable containers, inserts and pallet loads.
Start with the part. Import an STL file, enter the dimensions, or estimate them from photos. Choose containers from standard templates or from your company's own container library. Optipacker calculates an arranged packing layout with permitted rotations and clearances, and you inspect it layer by layer in 3D. For loose parts, a bulk estimate gives the capacity for early planning.
From the arrangement, Optipacker derives standard blisters and dividers. Pallet load planning checks container layers against pallet height, weight and load-zone limits.
The packaging economics connect the result with money: packaging pool investment, operating and replacement costs, amortization, payback and multi-year cash flow. Demand plans and purchase orders come from the packaging bill of materials, with order status and receipt tracking. Optipacker engineers review, revise and release insert designs and technical drawings before the purchases that depend on them.
Projects are shared inside the organization with organization and project access controls. A Merchant REST API returns container recommendations for checkout and fulfillment tools.
Try it without an account: Quick Plan, the Packing Example and the AI Packing Lab are free on optipacker.com. Accounts are set up per company through a request on the website. Pricing depends on the packaging volume, the engineering work and the order terms.
