# How does AppsFlyer attribute exactly? Is it Data Driven? Time Decay?

We had some discrepancies with other attribution platforms. It would be great to understand how this is done in order to understand the discrepancy. If this can be found in documentation, please refer me to that specific topic and I'll readi it.
