Zyte is a great tool for easy web scraping. I love how its proxy manager handles bans and rotates proxies, making data extraction super smooth. It’s simple to use, works with many programming languages, and scales easily for big projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main downside of Zyte is the cost, which can get high for large-scale projects. Also, setting up more complex scrapes can sometimes require additional troubleshooting, especially with dynamic websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

* Configuration is straight-forward.

* Not as configurable as we need for some purposes
* It is somewhat difficult to monitor performance. We have difficulty seeing how many failed attempts were made or how often connections are retried.
* It is difficult to audit the performance to identify problem sites, making it difficult to determine where we need to update connection properties.
* We can't directly control the network proxy hosts come from, so it's hard to manage network-based blacklisting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DIY scrapers using Scrapy cloud is good at extracting data from the web, I have used it and the experiece was good, There is a breakdown of successful and unsuccessful calls and usage limits, dev experience in general is good and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing the scrapers could improve on is speed of scraping, when I compare the implementation speeds for something done localy (i.e to be fair without IP rotation) the code is quick to give me the results, Zyte scrapers although gives the results but the execution time is significantly high. Sometime adding multiple units does not increase the speed of scraping Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to start and set up with their SDK, and with no minimum spend. The actual tech is effective at what it does and allows one to scrape almost any site. If operating at a decent scale, it's almost a no-brainer to ensure there are no issues with your scraping service and keep development maintenance costs low. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
