"Reliable security that works quietly in the Background"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?

Frm my experience, I'd say the best part of zscaler internet access is that it's ease of use. Once it is active, it runs in the background & provides a secure access to websites and Applications in my work pc. As an end user I don't need to manage complex settings, which makes it's convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?

Zscaler works generally well in background, but the application provides a very little to no information when a website is restricted or a connection fails. I may like if more detailed notification and simple troubleshooting guide help users understand the issue well, before reaching to IT support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Security Management, Robust Yet Needs Better Troubleshooting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?

I use Zscaler Internet Access to secure our users to the internet and protect them against malicious websites, improving visibility into internet activity. I like that it helps us protect users from phishing, malware, and unsafe websites without relying on traditional security appliances. Zscaler simplifies secure access for our remote users, which is particularly useful with work-at-home setups. What I like about Zscaler is how easy it is to manage, how it consistently protects users wherever they work, and its scalability. The centralized management makes it simple to apply and update security policies across all users, reducing administrative effort and helping maintain a consistent security posture. The initial setup was straightforward, and although configuring policies took some planning, overall, the implementation was smooth. I also appreciate that it provides strong security and is easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?

I find the troubleshooting experience could be improved because it takes time to identify the cause of blocked traffic. I feel logs can be overwhelming for new admins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zscaler Internet Access Delivers Strong Cloud Security and Easy Centralized Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?

What I like best about Zscaler Internet Access is its cloud-based security, which allows users to securely access the internet from anywhere without relying on a traditional VPN. It provides strong web filtering, malware protection, SSL inspection, and data loss prevention while maintaining good performance. It is also easy to manage through a centralized dashboard and helps enforce consistent security policies for all users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?

Sometimes policy configuration and troubleshooting can be complex, especially for new users. SSL inspection may occasionally cause compatibility issues with certain applications or websites, and troubleshooting blocked traffic can take time. The licensing cost can also be high for some organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Friendly, Complete Tool for Harmonized Firewall & Proxy Management"
4/5
What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?

Its good and friendly, a very complete tool for the users. Manages firewalls and proxies in a very harmonized way. Provides user SSO identifications, that is a very good plus Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?

Sometimes proxies are not so clear, so when it comes to new systems, you need to bypass their proxy with a specific configuration. That can block or slow down some user processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cloud-Native Security and Seamless, Scalable Web Access Without VPNs"
5/5
What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?

Zscaler Internet Access's cloud-native security and safe web access without the need for conventional VPNs are what I find most appealing. It maintains a flawless user experience while offering reliable defense against viruses, online dangers, and illegal access. Users can be easily secured no matter where they are because to the scalability and centralized policy management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?

The complexity of policy configuration and troubleshooting, particularly in big contexts, is a disadvantage of Zscaler Internet Access. Traffic inspection can occasionally cause a small amount of latency, and a thorough log examination may be necessary to identify access problems. Additionally, the reporting interface could be easier to use for routine administrative tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized Secure Internet Access with Cloud Scalability"
4/5
What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?

I really like Zscaler Internet Access's cloud-native scalability, which means we don't need to worry about capacity planning or hardware refresh cycles; everything scales up on Zscaler's end. The global presence of data centers ensures low-latency access no matter where our users connect from. Having a unified console is fantastic because it centralizes policy management across web, cloud app, and threat protection, eliminating the need to manage multiple tools. The strong threat intelligence is great; the real-time updates in the cloud mean a threat detected for one customer can help protect others. I appreciate the seamless user experience, where security operates quietly in the background without noticeable slowdowns, which is a big improvement over clunky VPN clients. Lastly, the granular policy control is incredibly useful, allowing different rules for different user groups rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?

I find troubleshooting complex because when issues arise, it's tough to determine if it's the Zscaler Internet Access policy, SSL inspection, or the app itself causing the problem. I experience SSL inspection breakage with apps that use certificate pinning, which requires ongoing manual bypass rule maintenance. The learning curve for admins is steep because the policy engine's flexibility can lead to rule conflicts, and tuning takes time. I also feel that the cost at scale can be high due to the licensing structure, which isn't always clearly presented upfront. The documentation and support sometimes don't keep up with new features, leading to slow ticket resolution for unusual issues. Lastly, I find the onboarding process can be more challenging than anticipated, particularly with PAC file and agent deployment in large fleets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure Internet Access Made Easy—Especially for Travel"
5/5
What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?

It makes easy when it comes to secure my internet access, over all when I travel. This is key as because we use so many apps it ensure to tunnel all the data through a secure route Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?

Sometimes it makes me wonder how the data flows, but I guess this is more due to the admin. It would be helpful to have an indicator I can always see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Cloud Security and Fast Direct-to-App Access"
5/5
What do you like best about Zscaler Internet Access?

Fast, reliable security without the VPN headaches. ZIA routes users directly to the web and cloud apps securely from anywhere, cutting out slow data center backhauling and eliminating bulky hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zscaler Internet Access?

It slows down connections sometimes and breaks developer tools like Docker or Python because of its strict SSL checks. Setting up bypass rules in PAC files is a headache, and they nickle-and-dime you—a lot of basic features end up locked behind expensive add-on tiers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
