There are several ways to search either through Boolean search logic or simply putting a title and checking some boxes to find your desired candidates. It is an excellent resource to enrich your database as well. **What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo?** The only downside is that there are so many candidates and depending on your search criteria you may get some who aren't qualified. Not all candidates have contact information but it seems the majority do. **What problems is ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo solving and how is that benefiting you?** They work on making it very user friendly and provide updates for integrations, etc. I have added 1000 contacts each month for the last several months we have been using and it has increased my candidate pool significantly. Assuming one's organization has paid for the premium features of ZoomInfo, any organization's contact information, website, and most importantly, staff members can be found almost instantaneously. As a corporate recruiter who recruits outside salespeople for an ongoing hiring program, I place immense value on being able to find the highest number of qualified candidates as efficiently as possible. While my company has used other sourcing tools in the past, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo's advanced search mechanics are second to none. Finding one company among a group of similarly-named ones, often from multiple different countries, is surprisingly straightforward. Once found, an organization's staff members are clearly organized for easy browsing, and clicking on any name immediately provides their company's phone number, their direct line, and their company email address. Apparently, ZoomInfo draws their information from a continually updated database of contacts based purely on their company email address, which is a novel approach. Simply being able to clearly identify an organization's email address format makes reaching out to both new and old contacts extremely convenient for the recruiters in my department. Overall, ZoomInfo has the options and features that make researching organizations a breeze for recruiters in an industry. **What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo?** Despite its bevy of benefits, there are two recurring issues that I have noticed while using it. The first is that, while ZoomInfo claims that its database of company email addresses is updated throughout the year, they have yet to provide my company with a straight answer regarding how often these updates occur. Indoff has been using ZoomInfo for well over a year now, and I have noticed many inaccuracies while researching smaller companies in particular. My role involves sourcing contact information for salespeople in several industries (office products and material handling products) and then reaching out to them to gauge interest in our outside sales program. However, when reaching out to prospects from these smaller companies sourced via ZoomInfo, there have been countless instances in which the candidate is no longer at the company I am calling. Several of these calls have resulted in hostility from the company's receptionists, as the candidates have often been gone for several years, retired, or even deceased. This has occurred often enough to cause me to call the frequency of ZoomInfo's alleged updates into question. These inaccuracies are the exception rather than the rule when sourcing. ZoomInfo should just be more transparent regarding how often their database of contacts is updated, especially regarding smaller companies. The second recurring issue with using Zoominfo concerns a recent, perplexing change to the platform. Users can no longer copy and paste information from Zoominfo browser tabs. Why this extremely basic mouse functionality is suddenly disabled on Zoominfo, after over a year of daily use, is beyond me. If I had to guess, I would assume that it is because of research information sharing and privacy concerns. I understand that Zoominfo is a premium service and that sharing information obtained from it could negatively affect their business model, but disabling the copy ad paste functionality simply punishes users who are already paying for access. Because sourcing candidates, and recording their contact info quickly, is so important to the recruitment process, I am suddenly now more hesitant to recommend Zoominfo to other recruiters. Other databases, such as Seamless.AI and Apollo, do not have this issue. I sincerely hope that this is a merely bug and that Zoominfo restores the copy and paste features soon. Regardless of these issues though, ZoomInfo is still by far the most effective sourcing tool that my company has utilized. **Recommendations to others considering ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo:** I would be somewhat wary when researching smaller companies, as I have noticed some inaccuracies with ZoomInfo's information on their staff. Furthermore, only one user can log in into a ZoomInfo license at once, so keep this in mind if you plan for an entire department to use ZoomInfo for research purposes. **What problems is ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo solving and how is that benefiting you?** While using ZoomInfo, we have solved the problem of finding consistent email addresses for members of organizations that we want to source. This allows us to easily create and send email campaigns when targeting salespeople from a company of interest. We have realized the benefits that ZoomInfo's advanced search features, and its extensive list of contacts, provide when sourcing. I have run into a few deadends here and there where the information is more than six months old and the target is no longer at the company. I also like that their contact information is provided so that way we are able to contact them on the spot. I can, for instance, only have a first name along with the person's general location and be able to find their company phone number. I am even, at times, able to get their phone extension through Zoominfo. Before I used the tool, it would take me an additional one to two hours to plan my reach-outs by phone or email. In my view, it is well worth but it is something to consider in evaluating. **What problems is ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Incredibly easy to source highly accurate contact information for really every level of an organization, which allows my company specifically to acquire data much quicker rather than trying to source from several different platforms. We have also been able to generate business from the opportunity information from the scoops content, which could cover the cost of the tool for the next two years. ### 47. For example, we are a ZoomInfo household. While my partner uses it for telecommunications for SMB's, I use it for technical recruiting for Fortune 1000 companies. And for both of us, it is extremely effective because the contact's mobile phone number and e-mail is typically listed. ZoomInfo integrates seamlessly with SalesForce, Outreach, etc. to make the sales team's job so much easier. When you're in cold(ish) sales, it can often be exhausting to purchase lead lists and manually enter data. Not with ZoomInfo! I will likely keep ZoomInfo on a personal subscription in the future if I ever change careers. **What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo?** I can't say that there is anything I dislike. There are feature improvements that I would suggest, such as their ZoomInfo certification. For months we were unable to sign up for it because it would click us through a loop > click link > login > click link > login, and I never did get a response back until a rep reached out to me to upsell us. It was fixed, however so I do like that they take customer bugs into consideration. **What problems is ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefit of ZoomInfo, as I mentioned, is that it lessons the work-load for the employee in order to yield the benefit of a greater reachout number and therefore a greater return on investment. ZoomInfo solves the problem of tracking a lead down. They've done all of that work for you. Do yourself a favor and look yourself up in ZoomInfo, you'll be floored by how accurate it is! ### 48. There are an incredible number of cell phone numbers available as well as the direct dial numbers. Aside from having clean and accurate data, there is an unbelievable amount of contacts available. It's become pretty uncommon that I don't find a contact I need or at least someone in that facility or department. It also seems more often than not that the direct dial or cell phone number is available to me. I've been using Zoominfo for 7 years and don't know what I would do without it. There was a year in between where I did not have Zoominfor and I do feel like my productivity suffered. **What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo?** If I had any complaint it's that the user interface used to be cleaner with less clicking to open up search categories. It slows me down too much. Sometimes simpler is better. By having direct dial numbers and cell phone numbers I'm getting direct contact and even if it's not the right person, it's that much easier to get referred to the right person in their department. My company has been using ZoomInfo since I joined to company, and any time there is an issue our ZoomInfo representative is always quick to respond and get the issues resolved. He will even launch Zoom calls to show us the features and answer questions live. Any time my company has had an issue with the platform, ZoomInfo is always quick to let us know if other users are experiencing similar issues and resolve the delay quickly. The export feature saves my company hours of time per person, allowing us to increase our productivity and direct our efforts in the right direction. ZoomInfo also gives us a quick look into a company's financials, locations, and top-down structure to see if the potential client is within the range we shoot for when seeking to establish connections. I use as many of the features as possible, including the company financials summary, contact LinkedIn and Social Media link, as well as the company size feature on a daily basis. **What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Talent - Powered by ZoomInfo?** The Zip Code Radius search occasionally has issues. I use this information to locate candidates and clients and Zoom makes it easy. We had Linked IN RPS and when the contract came due we stopped using because we found the data much more current with Zoom.
