I use Zoom webinars to host a weekly webinar event. The templates make it easy to set up the webinars that meet our branding standards and include everything I wish to include. I've even been able to customize the pre-event emails to include specific language. The "Practice Session" allows the host and presenters to come onto the webinar early for systems check and a quick run through. You can then "begin" the webinar so that everyone gets admitted to the room while you wait for the official time to start speaking. It's a nice to be able to have that quick check before allowing attendees in. I also appreciate the closed captioning and sign-language features that allow teammates to turn the features on if they need it while others can leave them off if they don't need the help. It would be nice if we could set the presenter invitations to block their calendar for a specific length of time prior to the webinar going live. Right now, I send them the Zoom webinar invite and then create a separate Outlook invite for 30-minutes before so they are logged in, systems checked, and all of the bugs worked out before we go live. It would be nice if I could do all of that within the Zoom invitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was great when we needed to use it. Not cheap but a good software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were using Zoom as a company for years. Our needs changed and then we started to try to downgrade our license count and omg it's like trying to cancel a gym membership.
Zoom: We need a meeting!
Me: No we don't. Just cancel the licenses please.
Zoom: we need a meeting to discuss why you want to downgrade.
Me: No we don't. Just cancel the licenses please.
Zoom: oh, looks like you are on a yearly plan and cannot cancel.
Me: no we aren't. It's monthly. Please cancel.
Me: closes the ticket. I'll cancel the credit card we pay with before dealing with this any longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's always new updates that come in so handy when hosting virtual events. The ease that comes with being a host and co-host when facilitating virtual events diminishes the cognitive overload from facilitating content. One of the most valuable things is sending participants automatically to breakout rooms, especially when we have a mix of joining via laptop, tablet, and phone - this also lifts the burden from the participants and enhances their experience. Not a dislike, but an opportunity for improvement:
1. 90% of the time, folks accidentally return to the main room from breakouts because they accidentally hit the 'return to main room' thinking they closed the 'breakout rooms are closing' message. Perhaps make the 'return to main room' button less prominent, move the message box lower/higher to avoid blocking participants' faces, or add a second message to confirm they want to return to the main room.
2. When we broadcast messages to breakout rooms, it is not prominent enough and only lasts a few seconds, so inadvertently, some folks miss it entirely or only get to read part of it. Having this message pop up in a brighter color and last longer would be helpful, especially when the message is a call to action when they return to the main room. Our educational events are recorded for later viewing by some of the attendees who could not attend live. The fact that they have increased the available recording space as part of our account has been a positive for our use of this platform. The recordings are clear and there are rare problems. I am not as impressed with their transcription. For some reason they make using Otter.ai as the transcription tool harder than it used to be, likely to promote their own service. I have to use an external device to transcribe the webinars in Otter.ai Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
"Zoom Events and Webinars is a versatile and reliable platform for hosting virtual events and webinars
. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to set up and manage events, with features like screen sharing, live captions, and Q&A sessions enhancing the overall experience
. The platform supports large audiences and integrates well with other tools, making it a go-to choice for organizations of all sizes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the audio and video quality can be inconsistent, which can be disruptive during important sessions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use, it use little resource to run, solid and safe, i use zoom in my company from 2019 and we intensively used it during the pandemic period and till now for virtual meetings. Now many features like AI made this tool a great platform to manage meetings and to cooperate with your team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User interface is still very primitive, need a big change, the last change in the version 6 are in my opinion not enough to compete con other tools in UX/UI. The GUI is not changed too much, but the features are improving also in quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zoom Workplace is the one of the best solution for an enterprise communication. You name it and it has it all. The granular controls on each element is pretty decent and significant when compared to other softwares. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Seemed licencing cost of the Enterprise Zoom meeting is slightly higher than Teams.Secondly. The update policy of the app seemed off. Most of the features are update to date however too many frequent updates requires significant efforts to keep upto to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zoom Workplace has Zoom Whiteboard and Zoom Webinar which helped our organization to have more learners attending the workshops, mentorship programs, etc. Zoom has high-quality video and audio transmission which helps us to maintain the quality of the meeting. There are features like recording, type of screen view, etc which enable us to maintain qualitative recording which will be shared with learners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of the features are user-friendly. There are a few features that have to be worked on like registration is slightly unclear to the person who will be using it for the first time. There should be some instructional manual which can help in clearing the doubts easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use, and it is easy to implement it and connect it to other applications.
I did not really contact their customer support, but they managed to fix an issue before when contacted by the team manager.
I do use once or twice a week.
And it has a lot features when it comes to the video sharing, and screensharing, and chat, and recording Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can lag sometimes, but it does not really affect the job being done Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very useer friendly and has tons of useful features to help give a great webinar class, It has AI tools and if for any reason you should have issues they always have customer support ready to help answer any questions. It has an easy to understand intergration and this is the only application I use to run my online classes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
