"Relieves Admin Bottlenecks, but Integration and UI Could Be Simpler"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

This platform solves a few bottlenecks for my company. My administration team felt real relief after getting onboarded. The user experience is straightforward and not overly complicated, and the overall integration process wasn’t a pain. That said, it could have been even easier, especially compared to some industry leaders. Pricing is a strong point for this platform and fits our needs well.

Performance-wise, we haven’t had any complaints so far. However, we haven’t really benefited much from the AI offered by this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

Integration is slightly complicated. The UI feels too much sometimes. Can be more minimalistic, clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Custom Forms, but Version 5 Update Disrupted Employee Data"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

What I like best is the flexibility in managing employee data and processes in one place. The ability to create custom forms makes it easy to adapt workflows to our specific operational needs. It provides a practical balance between structure and customization, which works well for an outsourcing environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

One drawback of Zoho People is the update to version 5, which disrupted previously attached employee data. Some information was relocated in ways that feel counterintuitive, making it harder to find and manage. This change negatively impacted usability and required additional time to adjust workflows. "Streamlined, All-in-One HR Platform That Saves Time"
5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

What I like most about Zoho People is that it brings all HR processes together in one easy-to-use platform. Everything from attendance tracking and leave management to employee records is well organized and available in real time, so it’s simple to find what you need when you need it. The interface is clean and fairly user-friendly, which makes navigation straightforward for both HR teams and employees. I also value the automation features—such as approval workflows and notifications—because they cut down on manual work and help improve efficiency. Overall, Zoho People makes day-to-day HR management more streamlined and less time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

One of the main downsides of Zoho People is that some features can feel a bit limited, or they require additional configuration to fully meet specific business needs. The interface is generally clean, but it can sometimes be confusing when you’re trying to navigate more advanced settings or run reports. I’ve also noticed occasional delays or glitches, especially when loading data or syncing information. In addition, the customization options for certain modules could be more flexible, and integrations with other tools may take extra setup to get working smoothly. "Highly Customizable HR Automation with Seamless Zoho Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

Zoho People’s biggest strength is its customization. It lets you tailor workflows, approval hierarchies, leave policies, and performance cycles to match your organization’s structure. The automation features also save a lot of time, particularly for attendance tracking and leave approvals. Integration with other Zoho apps is another major advantage, especially if you’re already in the Zoho ecosystem. On top of that, the reporting dashboard provides useful insights without requiring advanced technical skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

The user interface is functional, but it isn’t always intuitive. Some settings are buried under multiple layers of menus, and the initial setup can feel overwhelming if you don’t have clear guidance. The mobile experience could also be smoother in certain areas. On top of that, some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can drive up costs as your team grows. Customer support is generally decent, but it can be slower than expected when you’re dealing with more complex issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Check-In/Out and Leave Management with Simple Onboarding"
4/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

Easy to check in and check out. The leave applying process is also very easy, and if an employee needs to cancel, it’s simple to cancel leave as well. It supports multiple check-ins and check-outs, and it’s easy to onboard a new employee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

Employees need to check in and check out on time, and the app needs continuous access to live location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful and effective HR tool, but can be improved in usability"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

I like the integration of Zoho People with the rest of the products in the Zoho suite. I think it's the main advantage: Zoho has the sales team's CRM, the project management tool (Projects), software development (Sprints), accounting (Books), and HR (People). Everything communicates with each other, which as a company avoids one of the main problems, which is interconnecting data between different providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

Usability is not always simple, some processes are a bit tedious and it's hard to find how they are done. Finding the things you have pending to validate on desktop is not very intuitive. In the administrators, configuring some things (fields, dependencies, it's also a bit difficult to find them). As in the case of Sprints, it doesn't fully share Zoho's "philosophy" in some cases. The initial setup of Zoho People was difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use One-Stop Platform for HR Tracking, LMS, and Payslips"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

1) Easy to use.

2) One-stop platform for facilities like attendance tracker, performance tracker, setting KRI/KPI, LMS platform, accessing payslips, etc.

3) Can be accessed via mobile app also Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

As the platform provides many facilities, it can sometimes be challenging to identify which sub-category falls under a specific category. For example, location payslips could be unclear because it is not obvious which category it belongs to Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive HR Management with Seamless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

I find the interface of Zoho People quite detailed from an HR perspective, which provides a lot of options to navigate functionalities, such as setting up Team calls. It also offers flexibility in scheduling multiple evaluation rounds for different roles, which I think is very helpful from an organizational perspective. Additionally, the setup process is quite seamless, like a plug-and-play system, and it's easy to integrate with our email system, making OTP generation and link sharing very smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

What can be improved is the accessibility of the interface. Sometimes it's challenging because you may have to navigate on multiple options to reach an accurate option. Though it's a single sign on, but you still need to know the module well to be able to navigate. At the same time, from an administrative perspective, the accessibility is not very conducive because you will have to re-evaluate and always refresh yourself on what all has changed in the module. They also need to improve on the changes continuously happening on the interface. It should be proactively shared with the end users so they remain on top of how the functionality works. "Zoho People: Straightforward & Efficient HR Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

I find Zoho People very convenient because it's like carrying a whole HR department on my laptop in the cloud. It simplifies the usual HR paperwork and files, which would require a physical location otherwise. I also really appreciate its features for people logging in and out, as well as the reminders for important events like birthdays and work anniversaries. The initial setup was straightforward and very easy, which I would rate a 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

I think what needs to be improved on Zoho People would be the payroll systems. I would want to see more payroll integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient HR Management with Some Integration Challenges"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho People?

I use Zoho People for its Applicant Tracking System which efficiently manages activities related to hiring like applicant details, interview schedule, job details, and submissions. I like how it very efficiently handles day-to-day employee management. The Performance Management tools, including goal setting (Key Performance Indicators), performance reviews and appraisals, feedback, and ratings, are really helpful. The initial setup was seamless because the Zoho People support team was very cooperative during the switch. Overall, I'm liking the product and would rate it 9 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho People?

One thing I definitely would like to improve in Zoho People is the integration with Naukri. Currently, it requires an API Key from Naukri, which Naukri doesn't want to give. So if Zoho can work out this integration without needing Naukri's API key, it would be a great help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
