Zoho Inventory is not a Warehouse Management System as it lacks:

#1) Inventory Tracking and Locations Scanning

#2) Picking Module. Once an order is created within Zoho Inventory, the next step is to pack, but how can you pick and process item/s if you have not gone to a location to pick the items?

#3) Move from warehouses, but not locations within your own warehouse.

My biggest issue is there is no allocation for your where your products can be stored within your warehouse so you can put away your inventory, pick your inventory or check and count your inventory within the Zoho Inventory system.

Unfortunately, we will be moving away from Zoho due to this jarring issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is easy to use and learn due to its user-friendly interface. Was able to figure it out pretty immediately and get my team trained on it. Great customer support too - everyone I've chatted has been super helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Inability to customize workflows to fit our model. We currently buy inventory from a few wholesale sites and there is no easy way to mark our orders as paid or integrate directly. We have to "force" pay it.

The per month pricing is also pretty expensive compared to other platforms out there. I don't like how the plans are limited by the number of line items in each section i.e. Bills, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a lot of features under development and is still a WIP. Having said that, I really appreciate the flexibility offered by Zoho team in customizing the product using Automations, but the only issue is with the complexity of automating using Deluge script. Packing list, sale order, purchase order features. You can also attach any attachment to your PL, SO and PO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zoho needs to have feature to create packing slip without a sale order. Sometime we ship the parts that we make for outside processing to paint or do other touch up. We need a packing slip to attach to the PO and ship out. We are not selling the part so there is no need to make a sale order. We just need a packing slip. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The accounting functions which are connected are great, we have small problems with the local tax groups but for the main works is it very helpful. The order management can be checked directly from every pc and mobile device - the dashboard is clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The connection with our external accounting office is not the best, some downloads are possible just per period - so the total year. The format in excel needs a double check to can use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite aspect of Zoho Inventory is the cloud access, snappiness of the interface, and clean design. Coming from a local quickbooks inventory account which had none of these features made me appreciate it all the more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I suppose the worst part is that should our internet cut out we wouldn't be able to work. This is more of a theoretical downside as it has yet to happen in real life. The other problem is that you can't use an existing batch ID number when adding stock via inventory adjustment - it has to be a new number.
