The tool is good but I don't think it stands out being better than any other competitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simple modern UI, easy to use, no training necessary. Free and paid editions, and the free is very, very useful, unlimited users, can add custom apps, chat room. Compares favorably to similar apps from the biggies, but at a fraction of the price, typical for Zoho. Zoho Connect includes a Wiki (formerly a standalone app). You can build apps and embed them, from the simple (lunch orders, ride shares) to the complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zoho connect is a very interesting solution for instant intranets for companies that require a solution nto help with intra-office communications.
Some of the features that I beleive that zoho connect does real well include an editable wiki page , Interoffice email messaging , as well as a company blog / wall ala Facebook where everyone will be able to see the latest notifications and messages upon first logging in. This has provided to be immensely useful versus emailing everyone that needs to see the message.
I love the free solution they offer and it isn't gimped in any fashion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issue I have is that micromanaging is not included in the base free package and that if you want to have full control over user / team access you then have to move up to the paid tier. Although you can move to an external domain I find it to be a bit unnesacary unless you HAVE to have tight user access over intranet users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a very easy way to connect with team members and share business related wins or losses as well as personal life events. Though during football season things can get a little bit heated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With all of the other social networks that are out there I wonder sometimes if it's just another distraction from keeping team members productive. But then some will naturally use it more than others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
