"A full accounting app at a very good subscription price!"
4/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

When I started freelancing, I had to use at least three different apps to keep track of my new business. When I found Zoho Books, I canceled all three because Books handles everything! It allows me to set up clients, projects, tasks, and track time. From there, I can generate invoices and accept payments via credit card and even ACH. And it is a full accounting software, too. So helpful at tax time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

My only issue with Books is that their support sometimes gives me too technical answers. It would be most helpful if they could talk to me as a user and not an IT person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awful Experience"
0/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

I used to like that it would connect to accounts and that it was included as part of my Zoho one subscription until it broke and support was non-existent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

It just disconnected from my banks with no notifaction and support can't fix it. They want me to do everything manually which defeats the whole purpose of the software. Essentially useless. A lot of Zoho products are just slapped together and break constantly. Their plugin reviews and off-site reviews show that quite clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Meets all requirements for accounting processes"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

I appreciate that our invoices can be readily monitored, that they can be sorted by date, invoice number, status, or search by client or dollar amount, and that it can link with a variety of services, including Paypal, Payflow Pro, and Square. Zoho Books is an amazing accounting solution on the market, the main features that Zoho offers include automated reconciliation in the banking module, GST compliance, and interaction with other programs such as Zoho Analytics to generate dashboards and deliver vital insights. It is an excellent accounting tool that can automate regular bills and installment changes and is frequently monitored or freely integrated to other Zoho suite products such as Zoho CRM. What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

Business expenditure reports may be time-consuming, especially if you have many business entities, it's all too simple to be in the wrong company "view" and wind up entering your work in the wrong corporation. Zoho Books has to work on the data extraction aspect; the data output in Excel has formatting issues and is often difficult to handle; and the online display of reports such as Balance Sheet, P&L, and Trial Balance is obsolete and may be improved, improvement, everything else is great and noteworthy. "Easy-to-use software with excellent features and powerful reporting capabilities."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

It has a clean and simple UI with loads of automation to help with reporting, budgeting, and payment administration, It is also simple to integrate with the Zoho platform and third-party applications. Zoho Books is a cloud-based accounting software that can link with payment gateways, banks, and other financial institutions, making it simple to track, make, and receive payments. Zoho Books is a top-notch program that does all I need and much more, making accounting simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

It is strict about following the procedure, and you are somewhat limited in utilizing handwritten journal entries, so you must make sure you do everything correctly the first time. To take use of all the wonderful intricacies and features, further training is necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplify accounting with Zoho Books has everything you need."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

One of the things I like most about Zoho Books is its user-friendly interface, the software is intuitive and easy to use, making it accessible to users of all experience levels, this is especially useful for small business owners and entrepreneurs. You may not have a lot of accounting experience, another great feature of Zoho Books is its integration with other Zoho products, If you are already using other Zoho software like CRM or Invoicing, you can easily connect them to your Zoho Books account for seamless data transfer. This saves time, reduces cost and risk of errors, there's a lot to like about safety and feasibility, I think the two-factor authentication, the various transaction recovery options, and all the other things that you need to keep your business running are working very well. What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

A major disadvantage of Zoho Books is that it may lack sophisticated functionality compared to other accounting software solutions; while it provides a wide range of tools, it may not be the ideal option for firms with highly particular needs or those require a high level of customisation. Another issue I have with Zoho Books is its limited reporting capabilities; while the software provides some basic reporting choices, it lacks the comprehensive reporting tools seen in other accounting applications. Customer service may be significantly improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fluid, powerful, fairly user friendly even if you don't know what you are doing"

What do you like best about Zoho Books?

The ability to carry multiple organizations has been significantly helpful for my uses. The application range has made it easy for my team and I to collaborate on the fly. The look and feel is very clean, makes sense with a little bit of learning, and has a lot of tools o haven't even begun to dig into. I am beyond excited to keep integrating it further into our operations. Using the product on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly routine has been fairly seamless for our team. What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

I have had some challenges with the way services link, though with the appropriate help from the Zoho team; everything has been stellar. I honestly cannot think of something I didn't appreciate or could understand the limitations. Other products have had gla ing defects. I am failing to find them for Zoho books, though I know some of the integration and extension stream could have some improvement.

One area of challenge was implementation. Though, again, I can understand the issue we had. To avoid the issues we had to resolve; ensure you implement and setup Zoho books using the instructions. Oversight or mismanagement is easy to cause. Knowledgeable individuals and professionals that have used this product frequently can disregard. Though for you newbies, follow the setup steps! "Excellent software makes accounting easy."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

It is really simple and intuitive to use, which simplified the whole accounting process. I especially appreciate the different reports that can be exported with the press of a button. Zoho Books has all of the functionality required for transparent accounting. GST compliant invoices may be issued from Zoho Books, and journal entries are created immediately when clients pay an invoice. Bank statements instantly connect with Zoho Books, making bookkeeping simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

Because it has cloud access, information virus can arise, strange intruders can access sensitive data, custom reports in Zoho Books are a little flaky and not very flexible to use/view, and it does not allow or enable complicated management reports. It takes a lot when you obtain data from many sources and sometimes you can't manage the data properly; it may have been better if they added exact formats in Zoho and linked with their partners. What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

While Zoho Books offers many advantages, one aspect that may be a drawback is the learning curve for users who are new to accounting software. The extensive features and customization options, although beneficial, might be overwhelming initially. Additionally, some users have reported that customer support can be improved, particularly in resolving complex issues promptly. As someone based in Pretoria, South Africa, working in accounting, a more seamless support experience would be beneficial. Despite these challenges, Zoho Books remains a powerful tool once you become familiar with its functionalities, providing substantial value in managing finances efficiently.
