"Effective GST Automation, Needs Open Line Item Feature"
4/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

I find Zoho Books very clear and helpful, especially for Indian companies since it's from India. It's great for filing GST with automation, which helps us track our GST details against the portal monthly. I think Zoho Books plays a better role in GST management. The features like Zoho payroll, Zoho expense, and Zoho contracts are also valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

Zoho Books doesn't have open line items. This is the main feedback to Zoho because we've worked in SAP, and in SAP, there are open line items. We need to carefully take a note and work on open letter items, but in Zoho Books, we don't have any feature for the open line items. We have to keep a report for all advances that are open manually. Also, the setup was good, but we missed a lot of documents when moving from another system. The code couldn't be extracted in Zoho's format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Invoicing with Room for Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

I find Zoho Books has a very easy user interface, making it simple to write invoices and estimates. I appreciate being able to keep track of outstanding invoices and sending automatic payment reminders, as well as the option to create recurring invoices. It allows me to spend more time on my business rather than handling financials. I also liked how easy it was to switch from Wave Apps by downloading and importing our various lists into Zoho Books. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

I wanted to sync my bank statement, but that didn't work very well, and the financial reports for the accountant were not easily customized. I had to download a template to be able to customize my bank statement to Zoho Books' template and that was a bit out of my league. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Accounting with Stellar GST Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

I really appreciate how Zoho Books makes accounting and configuration easy. The best part is definitely the GST integration, which is very helpful as Zoho Books serves as a GST service provider. The initial setup was straightforward, especially with the QuickBooks to Zoho transfer utility, making the transition pretty seamless. I also use Google Sheets integration with it, which is great for pushing data into Zoho Books and analyzing reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

Some of the user interface could need improvement. Sometimes when I am under a vendor in a particular transaction, if I cross out of it, my window behaves, in a way that it goes back to a bills view, where I'm no longer in that previous view. So some of the UI experiences could be improved when you are going into a transaction and coming out of it. My overview of things kind of change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Financial Management with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

I love Zoho Books because everything is all in one place. Everything is right in front of your face, so you don't have to go to 10 different apps to find what you're looking for. It's very convenient as I don't need to download and pay for multiple different financial apps. I can see our customers, the contacts, money, billing, and statements all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

The only thing with Zoho Books is they don't have the subscriptions. I use Zoho Billing more. So if they could be one app, that would be super awesome. Also, using Zoho Books and the CRM is a little confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Accounting: Transactions, Invoicing, Inventory, and Live Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

It captures every transaction along with invoices, makes it easy to create sales orders and convert them into purchase orders, and supports automated invoicing and bill processing. It also includes inventory management and live financial reporting, which helps keep everything up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

Not all features are available on the lower-priced plans, which ends up pushing you to upgrade and pay more. This is especially frustrating for start-ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Cloud Accounting with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

I use Zoho Books for all my organisations and businesses for entire bookkeeping. (6 Organisations, All Paid Subscriptions) I like that it's cloud-based and allows multiple users, which lets me monitor books from anywhere and manage staff login access. The auto fetch feature for bank reconciliations is great. I also appreciate the recurring bills and the ability to send no-reply emails using the Zoho domain. Also reports and data export - Big help with analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

I find the true customization of the template lacking. Also, there is no proactive support for long term users and early adopters. Inability to lock books year wise. Very Important: while bank reconciliation helps, all that effort year round is nor translated during audit to quickly identify transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Zoho Books to be very user-friendly, which makes it easy for me to handle various accounting tasks. I really like the bulk purchase and sale option it offers, as this helps me save a significant amount of time. It's convenient to have everything in one place, where I can view the total sales, purchases, and SKU-wise inventory holdings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

It's not helpful to track single SKU inventory history in one click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Platform That Streamlines Customers, Estimates, and Invoices"
5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

The different segments of information we work with – customers, estimates, invoices, credit notes – are easily accessible and well connected. We implemented it in our workflow and it helped reduce the number of additional platforms to refer to the same amount of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

With many features, it's not uncommon that we're not using all of them or perhaps using all of them to their full capacity, but this isn't something to dislike. It's tricky to find an issue with the platform, as we find it meets all our needs so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Interface, Strong Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zoho Books?

I use Zoho Books for accounts, and I like the employee payrun and tax calculations in the payroll part. It's also helpful that if I have questions regarding usage, there's an option for a helpline number, which I can call for resolutions. I can maintain and verify data vendor-wise, which I find quite beneficial. The initial setup was easy as I started with a free trial and then bought the services without facing any challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Books?

I find it limiting that I can't run payroll more than once in a month. If a startup company doesn't maintain a sufficient balance to pay all employees at one time, they should be able to run another payroll later in the month to release additional payments. I reached out to the Zoho team for this request, but they said there's no option for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
