ZixMail and ZixOne were managed separately when I was an admin for it, so it was a bit annoying to have two portals to manage. **Recommendations to others considering Zix Email Encryption:** ZixMail is a solid solution for email encryption - provided you don't need to use the ZixOne mobile app. **What problems is Zix Email Encryption solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used ZixMail to have HIPAA level encryption on email correspondence. ### 2. Even if the user doesn't manually encrypt it via an outlook plugin or using a keyword. You can create policies that let the user know that their email contained content that needed to be encrypted. With zixgateway we no longer need to keep track of individual Zix licenses throughout our organization. Policies are easily made with prebuilt definitions for PII, HIPAA, SSNs ect. **What do you dislike about Zix Email Encryption?** I would like to see the policies tell the user why it flagged their email. It would also be great if the policies sent a list of flagged items to users so they are more aware/reminded what needs to be encrypted. **Recommendations to others considering Zix Email Encryption:** ZixGateway is a much better product than using individual licenses of Zixmail. Having the piece of mind that emails will be encrypted when need be automatically is priceless. Any time you can minimize a risk (in this case private information) you need to act on it. **What problems is Zix Email Encryption solving and how is that benefiting you?** Zixgateway helps us keep confidential information encrypted by taking the responsibility out of the hands of the user. Every email leaving the organization is checked if the user didn't choose to encrypt it.
