I used it 12 years ago when I got laid off and found an excellent job. I was just laid off again due to downsizing and have been using ZipRecruiter again to find a new job. I love the fact that you can set up your account and then search for jobs by job title or location. Then ZipRecruiter sends e-mails to you every day with jobs fitting your search parameters. You can then save jobs that you are interested in or ones for which you have applied so you can easily keep track of them. They also let you know if you are a great match for a job and, if so, highlight your resume to that employer to make your resume stand out and be more likely to be viewed. **What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?** There is nothing that I dislike about ZipRecruiter. **What problems is ZipRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?** ZipRecruiter sends e-mails to me with the job titles I am looking for in my area. That way I don't waste time looking at job titles that I'm not interested in or jobs that too far from my home. ### 37. It also has a respond to company template. **What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?** The only downsize is that after you update a specific company 'and' position in the in the browser the algorithm may take weeks to enter in any given job category. **What problems is ZipRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?** If I want to respond to a company's inquiry, I can communicate via message and receive additional information on links, vital information i.e. location to enter for interview, hiring manager's and secretary's name, email, phone number, upcoming meetings and webinar ### 41. A lot of compaines send you a list full of jobs and half of them you cant apply to and the other half are these spend money to make money jobs. ZipRecruiter seems to find the "real" positions for me to apply to. Not only are the jobs ads real and tailered it's actually really easy to apply as well. Like I said its a one stop shop!!! **What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?** When i first started on ZipRecruiter it took me a little bit to understand how it worked. It almost seemed like it wasn't user friendly, but I simpley had to play around with it for a little bit to understand the in's and out's to it. Its actually very simple and easy to use. **What problems is ZipRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?** When going onto other sites they throw so many jobs that either arn't in my field, im not qualified for, or simply are real jobs that it makes it impossible to find, apply, and repeat. When looking for a job the last thing you want to find out while filling out a lengthy application is that the job isn't real or wants you to pay money to start the position. ZipRecruiter seems to have weeded those positions all out and has only sent me positions I can literally apply for that are real. ### 43. They present a clean, easy to view website, where everything you see is related to finding jobs. The jobs are legitimate. I have been hired twice, at companies who found me on ZipRecruiter. I have used their resume tools and they work very well. You can easily track the number of applications you send, and their status. They help people find jobs and they help jobs find people. You won't be bogged down with video ads, spam, click-bait, or recruiter with fake names, asking represent you. **What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?** I don't like not working and I try not to be unemployed, but it happens. **What problems is ZipRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?** ZipRecruiter keeps the focus on matching you to jobs, and nudging just enough to get you to finsh what you start. It keeps me looking and that gets more difficult every day.
