It also reduces the chance of missing good opportunities by sending job alerts and recommending positions that match my skills and preferences. The suggested jobs feature is great. My favorite feature is the 1-tap apply option. It makes your job searching much easier especially when your eyes are crossing from applying to so many jobs and answering all the same questions repeatedly. I received at least 5-8 suggestions I was thoroughly interested in every other day. This cut down on time and gave me a more well rounded and exciting job search; since it opens up for new ideas/positions you may have not known you were interested in but match your skills and qualifications. I also like the daily emails and the updates on the status of my application. **What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?** The repetitive job openings for the same openings and already applied for. Sometimes the positions have already been filled and the status has not been updated on Ziprecruiter so time can be wasted filling out applications for positions not available. Also, in addition to the current status update (when your application has been viewed and how many times..etc) maybe adding a feedback option for prospective employees as to why the you were not chosen specifically surrounding the resume/profile. **Recommendations to others considering ZipRecruiter:** Have a very well thought out catchy title/headline. Make sure to check the qualifications/job requirements (You may have done a specific task, but most companies want to see college degrees or certifications) Stay on top of your emails, You will have many, many job recommendations; look at them all! I will starting my new position I found on Ziprecruiter. Benefits have been countless. I have utilized all the tools available and stayed vigilant with my search and it paid off. ### 12. ZipRecruiter markets itself on providing employers top job seekers with a streamline way to filter through applicants. However I don't think ZipRecruiter is enough of a household name to warrant paying for the service. Most people I have talked to have never heard of the company and the most common answers were Indeed and Monster. **Recommendations to others considering ZipRecruiter:** Compare pricing with other recruiting websites that are more popular. You might have to pay more but it may be worth it in the long run to have an account with sites that are more well known. ### 29.
