What do you like best about ZipBooks?

Incredibly easy to use, professional and polished from UI to documents and reports. Powerful, regularly updated and improved, I am so excited to be a ZipBooks user knowing something this good is will get even better over time. As a startup company, we could not have asked for a better software program. Fortunate to have found ZipBooks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZipBooks?

The only thing I have seen that it does not have that we need are as follows - and to their credit they have promptly responded to my inquiries on these subjects and have indicated they will be forthcoming in very near future update:

-Batch editing tools (especially for importing of bank and credit card transactions)

Recommendations to others considering ZipBooks:

Sign up or switch yesterday if you can. If you have very complex accounting needs, maybe wait a while and I am sure a future release will bring what you need. It's a great product on the rise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZipBooks?

I love the simple interface and deep inclusion of detail. Its not complicated such as quickbooks which makes it perfect for bookkeeping for people like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the controls are not intuitive and take some figuring out with trial and error and frustration but once you figure them out they are fairly rapid to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZipBooks?

Zipbooks is so easy to use and it's free! It just has everything that's needed in an invoicing system: time tracking, client organization, beautiful invoices, instant payment system, and an absolutely outstanding interface. And the support is immediately responsive too! I actually am looking forward to using it more often. Thank you for making a beautiful and powerful product. What problems is ZipBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am just starting out a small business and I needed something simple and quick to send out my first invoice. I've used systems before, but they always end up having some kind of fee for certain features. The benefits of using Zipbooks is their model of being free, so it makes sense to have something like this. It's just a no-brainer. I've used other systems and they're nice and intuitive, but Zipbooks has all the same functionalities and yet it doesn't cost anything. Furthermore, the client benefits too: they get great-looking invoices, an email to see it with a PDF attachment to download, and they get a way to pay right away straight to your account. What do you like best about ZipBooks?

The simplicity in design and functionality, without sacrificing the ability to be a powerful invoicing and accounting platform. As a designer, I love everything about the simplicity of the navigation, all the way to the inner workings of the application. And of course, it all transitions to the newly listed iOS app, which allows me to be mobile. I could go on, but you should just give it a try since you have nothing to lose. What do you dislike about ZipBooks?

Only minor details in iOS functionality, which will likely be resolved as the app evolves. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see customer relationship management (leads, sales, marketing, etc) functionality built in at some point. This would mean one platform to rule them all! What do you like best about ZipBooks?

It's simple to understand and easy to use. For a small business owner like me I find zipbooks get the job done easily. No more missing tracking payments from your invoices. What do you dislike about ZipBooks?

It's not about dislikes but I would say improvement towards this great platform. I wish: -

- there's a payroll system that can help you organize payroll to your staff.

- it allows you to do quotes in draft mode (costing) so you can estimates if you making profitor how much you making for a projects or jobs. I use this tecnique when I'm preparing quotes in excel. It helps me see in a birdseye view about a projects.

- it allows you to customize your quotes, invoices and receipts. With the current system, It gets the job done but I wish theres a way it let you have few options to customize or templates you can choose Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
