I find Zip's easy-to-use intuitive user interface very appealing. It eliminates manual and email-based procurement requests, making the process much smoother. The initial setup was also smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

I think Zip could improve by expanding customization options for complex approval workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined procurement workflows with some room for improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Zip?

Zip has significantly simplified the management of procurement workflows across various teams. The intake form is particularly helpful, as it collects all the essential information from requesters at the outset, minimizing unnecessary back-and-forth and ensuring that approvals from Finance, Legal, Privacy, and Security are automatically routed. Additionally, it proves valuable for tracking renewals and consolidating requests in a single location, which enhances visibility into spending and vendor management. Overall, this tool has played a key role in centralizing processes that were previously fragmented and handled manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

While Zip has certainly streamlined our procurement process, it can sometimes feel inflexible when requesters fail to provide all the necessary information. This often results in delays, as Procurement must follow up to clarify missing details. It would be much more efficient if there were an option to transfer a request into a different workflow when a requester selects the wrong one, rather than having to cancel and start over.

Another issue involves the feature that lets you add people to departmental queues for visibility. Although the idea is solid, those added individuals automatically receive email notifications from Zip, which can lead to excessive and unnecessary emails. Some teams, such as Accounting, have also mentioned that certain aspects of the P2P process feel rigid. However, in my experience, this sometimes stems more from the learning curve and the need for users to fully engage with the tool, rather than from actual limitations of Zip itself.

I would also appreciate the ability to generate a PO after a request is finalized, especially if the original payment method was chosen incorrectly or needs to be changed.

Additionally, the platform could be improved with more user-friendly reporting and analytics, particularly regarding renewals and usage patterns. An escalation feature to prompt slow approvers would also help keep workflows moving smoothly.

Overall, these are mostly minor adjustments, and I believe the company is actively working on enhancements. They appear to value user feedback and are responsive in providing support and addressing concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ZIP has transformed how Procurement operate in the business"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

ZIP truly serves as a blank canvas when it comes to implementing process flows. Its flexibility allows us to either integrate with other platforms or operate entirely within ZIP, which is a significant advantage. We've successfully mandated approvals and facilitated interactions across various supporting areas of the business, making it easy to track every step. The platform offers a high level of transparency, enabling stakeholders to clearly see the status of ongoing processes. One of the most important aspects is that it's completely code-free and plug-and-play. We don't require assistance from consultants or developers to make changes, even to live workflows. What do you dislike about Zip?

Getting time with people at ZIP can sometimes take a while.

It would be nice to have a dev environment to play with and use for demos and testing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Procurement with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

We've found the vendor procurement process much more streamlined with Zip as it centralises internal approvals and documentation in one place. The pace at which new features are rolled out is impressive and genuinely enhances the overall experience. The initial setup was also handled smoothly (thanks to Vincent from the Implementation team!), with the broader CX team (Tasha and Martina) continuing to be incredibly supportive. What do you dislike about Zip?

Current products / services appear to be more tailored to large enterprises. It'd be great to see more flexible pricing points or trial products for smaller companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zip through your Procurement processes via Zip!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

1. Intuitive and User-Friendly Interface

2. Powerful, No-Code Workflows: A key advantage is its highly flexible and customizable approval workflows. The platform allows for conditional logic (e.g., requests over a certain amount require additional approvals) without any coding

3. Efficient Intake-to-Pay Process

4. Strong Integrations: The platform offers robust integrations with popular ERP and financial systems (like Netsuite)

5. Excellent Customer Support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

1. Limited Reporting and Analytics: Platform's reporting functionality often lacks the advanced, user-friendly reporting tools

2. Gaps in Advanced Features: While new AI features are nice touch, there are gaps in features that can be made more useful

3. Less Comprehensive Custom Integration functionality: While recent use of Webhooks and API based suite helps, a lot more can be done on API side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
