"Zip Transformed Our Procurement with Intuitive UX and Game-Changing AI Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

Zip has been truly transformative for our organization. By consolidating our fragmented tools into a single platform, it has delivered full visibility across Procurement, AP, and all key stakeholders. The UX is sleek and highly intuitive, making it incredibly easy to customize workflows and configure punchout catalogs.

The platform's AI capabilities have been a game-changer. The out-of-the-box and customized agentic AI features deflect a massive amount of workload. Procurement can now self-manage requests independently using our own playbooks, eliminating the need to wait on other teams.

Since implementing Zip, we have achieved incredible, quantifiable efficiencies:

38% reduction in effort per case.

66% reduction in application toggles.

67% reduction in manual interactions per case.

68% deflection of legal requests using agentic output—a number we expect to optimize even further as we roll out "superagents" to action and redline against our playbooks. This has proven the ROI and business case.

Zip can integrate with our tech stack making it really easy to consolidate and engage with other teams. There sometimes is performance lagging on the P2P side vs a traditional onsite ERP being in the cloud. Any challenges we have faced have been easy to fix with Zip with their support and CSM team.

As part of the onboarding process we stripped back how our traditional procurement process operated from the ground up. This has made our engagements to full business No PO, No Pay possible in 13 weeks with great adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

There is very little to dislike. If I had to point to any gaps, it would just be a few minor missing features, such as a parent/child hierarchy structure to better manage marketplace spend (e.g., AWS Marketplace or Google Play Store purchases).

Any other challenges we encountered were actually due to our own ERP and chart of accounts setup, rather than Zip itself. Even then, Zip’s support team worked seamlessly with our engineers to resolve those issues quickly.

We are currently navigating some complexities around VAT and amortisation, which require configuration changes in our ERP, but Zip has been incredibly proactive in providing the support and advice we need to resolve them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Visibility and Transparency for Buyers and Approvers"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

I highly value the visibility and transparency it provides for our buyers and approvers throughout the process. The system is fairly easy to learn, and most objects are intuitive to use. Customer support is also incredible—I feel like an important customer, with attention and help coming from multiple areas of their organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

The filtering options and reporting feel inconsistent and can be difficult to use at times. I often get completely different results depending on whether I’m looking at Performance, exporting the data, or reviewing the request details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Workflow Configuration and Transparent Purchasing with Zip"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

What I like most about Zip is how easy it is to set up workflows and adjust them as our processes evolve. App Studio adds extra flexibility for building and managing integrations, and the platform gives requesters clear visibility into the status of their requests, any required actions, and which teams are involved. Overall, this makes the purchasing process more transparent and much easier to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

We occasionally encounter complex workflow or integration issues where the initial level of support is not sufficient. More direct access to higher-tier support resources who are familiar with our specific configuration and integrations would help resolve these issues more quickly and reduce unnecessary back-and-forth. "Zip Streamlines Procurement with Strong NetSuite, Matrix, and Slack Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

Zip gives us a single system of record for procurement, instead of having purchase requests scattered across email threads and manual trackers. The intake form and approval routing ensure every request follows a defined chain (dept head, legal, ESD, FP&A, executive as needed), so we’re not constantly chasing sign-off by hand.

The NetSuite integration is a major time saver: vendors created in Zip automatically sync to the GL, invoices sync and are marked paid once payment is made, and virtual card transactions flow directly into our journal approval screen. The Matrix integration is also solid—new hires, terminations, and department changes sync in real time—so procurement access is granted or revoked automatically with essentially zero manual admin. Slack notifications for approvals and payruns also reduce status-chasing across the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

Reporting and analytics are the main areas we’d love to see improve. Right now, saved dashboard views can’t be shared or scheduled for recurring reports, and exporting is largely limited to CSV. Also, when working through a list of pending approvals, you can’t open an item in a new tab, so you lose your place when navigating back and forth. A bit more depth in renewal reporting and usage-pattern insights would go a long way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Automation Flows That Keep Getting Better"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

I like the automation, especially when it comes to the flows. I came in not knowing how to use ZIP, but ZIP made it easier to navigate the platform and understand how to build things in a way that’s user-friendly. Overall, I think the performance has gotten better with all of these new updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

I only dislike the newest update to the change order feature, which has made it harder to use. It feels like there used to be fewer steps to finalize a change order than there are now. Maybe I just need to get used to it, but we’ll see. I also don’t like the new bubbly look; it reminds me too much of Google. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Install, Intuitive Tool for Streamlined Intake to Procure"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

An easy and intuitive tool that’s simple to install and configure. We’re using it for Intake to Procure for now, and any changes are straightforward to update and refine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

Updates on the fly for Change Orders. We need a way to update and add documentation while an approval is still in progress. Right now, there isn’t an easy way to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Service and Integration, but Glitchy"
4/5
What do you like best about Zip?

I like Zip for its amazing customer service and integration capabilities. The integration with Ironclad has made us more compliant with contract completion. I also appreciate that Zip helps with the visibility and transparency issues that our old system had a problem with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

I find the system can be glitchy, and not having mass coding and split billing are issues for our folks. The system can be laggy when creating a request, and the AP side of using the system with Workday can also be glitchy, causing our AP Team extra manual work. "Intuitive and Efficient for Procurement Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

I find Zip very easy to use, which is a big plus for end users and many cross-functional partners in the procurement process. It's great for requesters to approve invoices and track supplier performance easily. Zip's clear UI efficiently shows what's required from approvers, and the customizable intake form allows requesters to enter accurate information, enhancing the upstream process. After approval, POs are created, enabling the AP team to process invoices faster with auto-matching to existing POs. We've seen definite improvements in our procurement and accounts payable cycle times. Additionally, the recently introduced ZIP agents automate many processes in procurement and invoicing, which I appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

The AI features are still at a basic level of maturity, and we're working with Zip to see how we can improve them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Configure, Flexible Workflows, and an Incredible Zip Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

I like that Zip is very easy to configure immediately!! We can adjust workflows without involving our Zip team. Also, the Zip team is incredible to work with and supports our goals. Lastly, Zip invests a lot in improving the system and expanding functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

It is hard sometimes to keep up with all of the new features they are implementing......but is that really a bad thing? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Interface with Intuitive, Sensible Workflows"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

I like how easy it is to use. The interface is extremely understandable and the workflows make sense Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

This is both a downside and a good side, but sometimes the customization of the tool is hard to do. When changes are made to customize the use of the tool, it is hard to know if those are compliant and how to track those. In addition, we have had segregation of duties issues in Zip and that is how it was implemented and we never knew we needed to change that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
