What do you like best about Zillow Premier Agent?
My 1st experience in 2017-2018 was acceptable and then it started changing to very poor leads later half of 2018 and I was told the company was undergoing changes to improve agent experiences. I got out in October 2018 and returned in Jan 2019....Drew, my representative, impressed me with his pitch....I regret the $12,000 I lost with the 6 month contract. What do you dislike about Zillow Premier Agent?
Everything Drew, my Sales representative said was a lie. I was required to buy 3 leads per month minimum and if my spend was $2000 or more I’d get bonus and even seller leads. I was told after I purchased my leads and my fellow associate purchased the remaining zip code area- no more advertising could be purchased. I went into my 1st month at $2000/Month thinking I had 3 vetted leads (23% of zip code market) and would always have 3vetted leads per month to work with. Unknown to me...Zillow continued to sell more advertising dollars the next month in my zip code and this drove my leads down from 3/month to .5 per month. My phone number was not registered within the Zillow Help line until March so I could not get beyond the automated recording as my phone number was not recognized. Really?
Drew was constantly unavailable -sometimes for over a week. I sent email, got in contact with another agents representative and even got thru to the head supervisor who admitted didn’t ever read my letter laying out my complaints.
I was told in my 3rd month Zillow decided not to VET calls after all and changed this policy. The very policy i was sold on. The very few and fewer leads I WAS GETTING were crazy calls from people with agents, mostly leads on unsaleable lots and relatives checking on what a house sold for...you name the crazy stuff I got since Zillow was not vetting the calls.
Then I look at my advertising page in 3RD month of 6 month contract and surprised to realized more advertising was being sold in my zip code and I was now down from 23% to 16% - my representative was not returning my calls - in a panic I left message to up my advertising and nothing happened so the next day I tried again and he was out of office for a week and I missed my chance as the ad space sold out. I contacted another sales representative and she promised more ad opportunity and she did not preform. By now my original 3 leads in my 4 month were cut down to half a lead per month(11% of zipcode) for the same $2000/month. In other words....you get sucked into a contract with minimum 3 leads for a certain price and very quickly they sell more ad space to new agents in zip reducing existing agents leads.... hope you can follow this as it a BIG SCAM IN 2019!!!!
There is more and I could share about the new 2019 REAL ESTATE AGENT SCAM ZILLOW IS BENEFITING FROM....I did not get a sale in 6 months and spent $12,000.
I got crazy people asking crazy questions but I did not get Vetted leads as promised and by the way....if your sales representative says “just stop payment on your account if you want out of your contract early” - it’s a lie! They have insurance on your credit card that the payments will be made....No -you can not cancel your payment with your credit card company....The Sales Representatives will say anything in the most sincere way to sell ad space.....CORRUPT COMPANY!!!!
I also realized there was a Zillow Agent Finder and my name was on the 11th page and I purchased 23% of advertising dollars at time of contract -and agents with no advertising and less sales, reviews and experience were before me. Even my closed Team Account was on page 4.
They refused to move my name forward and repeated to me that the agent placement depended on agent sales....a flat out lie. Many agents before me were with no sales and some top agents are after me...regardless - I felt if I was paying 23% of advertising for the zip when I got into contract I might be placed in a better position. No way! 2019 ZILLOW A SCAM
