I typically have to go along with the step-by-step directions and manuals, as well as have used CloudApp screenshots to illustrate the steps. I usually apply them for gifs and movies. The tool just downloads a screenshot, uploads it straight to the virtual storage and creates a link which may be discussed. A window popping up as a preview every time I take a screenshot or video is pretty annoying.
