When I need to ask a question or show a client something that needs editing on their website, funnel, or copy, it's dead easy for me to fire this up and take a screenshot or record a video. Being able to annotate also simplifies the process and sharing is as easy as sending them a link and they can reply right on the image/video page. And that barely taps the possibilities. If this was s prospect, I can add a button for them to book a sales call or buy something outright. **What do you dislike about Zight?** Like most things, there are occasional glitches but the one that annoys me is that when you want to screenshot a whole web page, that often doesn't work. It will only do the visible portion despite giving you the option to do the whole page. THe other part to that is that when it does work, you can no longer click on anything on that page so you will need to refresh. **What problems is Zight solving and how is that benefiting you?** CloudApp solves several issues on the client side to fix issues and helps with communication, but also for closing sales. It also acts as a repository for reference data and also tracking metrics so that I can see what is happening from the people I send the data too. ### 3. When recording your screen from the desktop app, if you choose ‘Select region,’ this will allow you to select a portion of your screen, hiding the recording button (and any other areas you wish to keep hidden from the video). Regarding your feedback on having to click multiple times to download a file, we think you’ll appreciate our multiple solutions: 1. Go into the desktop app into Settings --> General --> and select Show item in browser after capture. This will ensure that every video or screen recording opens on the web automatically (no need to click). From there, all you have to do is select download. I've used it to record a webinar, explainer videos, and much more and then share it with people, and they can comment right in the app. Just perfect. Can't live without it. **What do you dislike about Zight?** The security to log in is annoying sometimes. I get trying to protect an account, but for me, it's just screenshots and doesn't need that level of protection; however, I understand why they have it. **What problems is Zight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Streamlines my communication. I've always been a fan of asynchronous communication since I like the freedom to do things on my own time and CloupApp allows me to do that easily, quickly, and on all my devices. ### 23. First, I love how easy it is to set up different commands, so it becomes seamless for you to trigger the screenshot after you've done your command about 4 to 5 times. The fact that this saves on the cloud and I can share those links directly, both internally and externally is a huge plus. It's so easy to edit the picture, and add arrows and squares to really make your point stand. A huge plus I haven't found in other apps is that you can "pixel" all the sensitive information perhaps you don't want to share. Oh, and don't forget about the gifs! Those are pure gold when showing customers how to do X or Y. **What do you dislike about Zight?** Sometimes I do get errors with the screenshots not automatically uploading to the cloud or not saving to my local folder either. Screenshots, drag & drop for those screenshots, adding arrows and boxes, etc. **What do you dislike about Zight?** This app is VERY buggy and unreliable. Each update makes it less and less stable. When you shoot a video with Loom it's up in 2 seconds, but with CloudApp it can take 3-5 minutes to process and start to upload. The desktop app crashes frequently on both Windows and Mac. We have multiple employees using it and all are reporting the same issues. We share videos with clients that sometimes don't actually open properly for them or for us. It's like this company is so focused on adding more and more features rather than trying to ensure what they already have works properly and is reliable. Could not be happier since dumping this and going to Loom. **Recommendations to others considering Zight:** Download the videos you want to keep because finding them in CloudApp later can be a pain when you have hundreds of videos. It's also not the most reliable system as sometimes your video will work, you send it to a client, and when they try to open it a day later it doesn't load and you'll find you can't load the link either. Don't expect much in terms of support.
