## About Zift
Zift is a Payments-as-a-Service platform, also known as PayFac-as-a-Service, that lets software platforms embed payment processing into their systems and turn it into a high-margin revenue stream. Zift handles the underwriting, compliance, and risk infrastructure behind the scenes, offering card, ACH, Bank Bill Pay and point-of-sale processing plus merchant onboarding through a single integration. Merchants can use EMV-ready terminals with cloud-based or standalone operation. Zift reduces PCI compliance scope through tokenization, which securely stores payment data, and its Proxynization .js library, which converts custom payment forms into hosted fields. Zift's reporting API includes reconciliation tools so merchants can match transactions to deposits. Platforms can white label the experience or consume Zift's entire API within their own software.
