Our favorite thing about Ziflow is its accessibility and simplicity for the reviewer, It's highly customizable notification preferences, automated workflows, and awesome visibility on the back end. It's hard to think of something that isn't working well to be honest, keep in mind we mostly use Ziflow for .ai files, .PDF's and images. What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you? We have over 60skus at Darey Brands, within 4 separate brand portfolios. We constantly have packaging changes and ontop of that we rebranded 34 of the skus. Ziflow was essential for us to do this in lightning speed, with full visibility of changes and approvals, and an awesome way to keep everything organized. It allows you to proof multiple media types including static images/pdf, web pages, and videos. They are also continuously making updates to the platform. We often have social campaigns which include many image assets. It can look a bit messy depending on the view type you are using or even if you are using continuous, it can look like a lot. What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you? Ziflow allows us to proof all components of a digital campaign in one place. Other proofing software we have used in the past did not have options for web pages or videos. It's a sleek and modern looking site for starters. Being able to make custom templates so you don't have to go through the process of manually adding each team member is a huge time saver. The recent design overhaul changed somethings and may take some getting used to but new users won't be affaceted by this. It'll probably make things faster later. The public url button could be a bit more prominent. Also status could be updated to include the stage that last completed (Stage 1: Internal Review Complete, for example). It's a great central on line location where all project collaborators on both the agency side and the client side (including other project participants such as manufacturers & printers) can review artworks, submit comments, confim approvals, clarify requests in a very specific manner and resolve technical aspects. No more chasing emails threads and excessive phone calls and even more impactful in the post-covid world of remote working. \*and as a bonus it integrates with ASANA which is totally awesome! Before using Ziflow, our client would be the middle person taking changes and information from a manufacturer and also information and queries from their printer and then emailing this onto us. Bascially they were inundated with emails and phone calls and then the emails would be sent to us and thus need to be managed at our end. Very time consuming. Now everyone feeds into Ziflow which benefits our client and us by eliminating the above scenario. As an agency that needs to track and implement changes it is a much better way to manage projects. It's so nice to have files all in the same place where we can make edits in real time without having to e-mail a ton of documents back and forth and remember where you saved them. Ziflow is solving the problem of when needing a document proofed we normally would email an editable pdf and share it with a proof reader then they would send us a new version back and we would have to go back to the original version to make edits. With Ziflow there is no back-and-forth sending different versions of a pdf risking things getting lost in translation. You're document or project is uploaded to Ziflow and people can go in and make proofing changes without all the extra hassle. It's strongest advantage is managing comments at each workflow stage which means multiple comments can be made at any one time by multiple contributors but each round of amendments is managed - so you never miss comments. I like using Ziflow to share my design work with team members in different parts of the world because I can get instant feedback. In addition, the approval process is seamless once the criteria for evaluating documents have been established. A feature that greatly improves collaboration is the ability to quickly see who has seen a comment or selected an item. I find this particularly useful! Also, being able to see changes live via the helpful indicator in the top right corner makes things really interesting and fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Ziflow? I do not like the lack of a visual indicator to mark comments as complete, which makes commenting less efficient. It would also be helpful to have multiple flags that can be applied to each comment for filtering and sorting purposes. It's also annoying to have to readjust my view parameters; there should be an easier way, such as attaching documents to the top of the comment list with important flags displayed. What do you dislike about Ziflow? I went into Ziflow without training and chose not to read any help documentation to see how my team members might see the platform. From a reviewer's standpoint, my only complaint would be that the tools within proofing are a bit difficult to find. We needed a centralized proofing system to work with inside and outside business partners that didn't require reviewers to purchase licenses or have to spend their valuable time learning a new program. Due to legal and quality expectations, we also needed a central hub of approvals to store data.
