I like that ZeroSSL can issue sub-domain wildcard certificates like *.test.example.com, which is pretty unique and not commonly available with other providers. The stance they take on the "3 free certs" is quite different than what they lead you to believe. You get 3 free certs once, for life. That is you can get one free cert and renew it twice or in my case get 3 for just fun project domanins, and when you go to renew them find out, oh, gee we gave you the 3 free ones. No renewals, time to fork over some money. This is in sharp contrast to them being compared to places like freessl that are actually free.
