It provides a message queue, but unlike message-oriented middleware, a ZeroMQ system can run without a dedicated message broker. ## ZeroMQ Reviews ### 1. Have high throughput compared to others. **What do you dislike about ZeroMQ?** Not proper built-in method to know if the component to which we are communicating is alive or not. If it's dead then zmq silently drop messages. **What problems is ZeroMQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using zmq for communication between our different components. The benefits that we realized that it's fast and has a high throughput rate. It's cross-platform and easy to implement even in c++. ### 2.
