zeroheight is the governed source of truth for design systems, giving AI agents, designers, engineers and product teams a single place to reference components, tokens, patterns, and implementation guidance. When design system knowledge is fragmented across tools and code repositories, AI coding agents are left to fill the gaps themselves - interpreting inconsistently, guessing where guidance is missing, and hallucinating implementation details that accelerate design system drift. zeroheight closes that gap. By centralising guidelines, tokens, code, components, and patterns integrated and synced with the tools you already use - AI-generated code reflects the design system while your team stays in control of what gets built. Why zeroheight? As AI coding agents take on more of the build, teams need confidence their output will reflect the system they've invested in. With zeroheight, agents produce on-system code without adding rework or cleanup, saving engineering time and token costs. This comes from a single, full-picture design system context delivered via MCP or API, official connectors like Figma Design Agent and Figma Make, and AI-optimised exports like markdown. Agents need a single source of truth to work from. Presented with fragmented context, they're left to interpret ambiguity themselves. Fragmented documentation slows teams down and erodes trust in the design system. zeroheight gives every agent, designer, engineer, and product team the same current, accurate answer, without hunting across tools or guessing at gaps. It aggregates and syncs your tokens, Figma, and Storybook into one governed system, searchable through the MCP, API, and styleguides. Giving agents and teams access to your design system only pays off if what they're building from is actually correct. zeroheight gives you confidence that only validated, current guidance ever reaches the people and agents acting on it. In-line review and approval workflows, release and deprecation management, adoption analytics, and role-based permissions keep it that way. Building and maintaining the infrastructure behind a design system: security, integrations, governance workflows — takes time and budget away from the design system itself. With zeroheight, it’s already built for you, so you get more value, faster, without the overhead of building it in-house. SSO, MCP, API access, and SOC2 compliance come standard, alongside multi-brand support, design-to-code pipelines, and dedicated onboarding and support, with agentic, self-maintaining documentation coming soon.

"It's great! Love the effortless Figma Integration"

4.5/5

What do you like best about zeroheight?

What I like best about Zeroheight is how effortlessly it connects the designs from Figma in our documentation. It makes it easy to create beautiful, clear, and living design system sites. You can go from a Figma file to well-structured documentation in minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

The main challenge right now is the limited support for native app documentation. Our design system also covers iOS and Android, and it would be amazing to have deeper integrations or tailored features for native components. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is zeroheight solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zeroheight solves one of the biggest challenges in design systems: keeping documentation up to date, clear, and accessible to everyone. It turns what used to be a static, time-consuming process into something dynamic and collaborative.

Thanks to Zeroheight, our team can easily maintain a single source of truth where designers, developers, and stakeholders stay aligned. It saves us time, reduces confusion, and makes the design system feel truly alive.

What I also really appreciate is that the product keeps evolving, the Zeroheight team is constantly releasing smart improvements and listening to user feedback, which makes the tool better. We feel like we’re growing alongside them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zeroheight, our user-friendly documentation tool for our design system"

5/5

What do you like best about zeroheight?

1. Zeroheight serves as a unified source of truth for design tokens, guidelines, and reusable components, ensuring consistency and accelerating onboarding for new team members.

2. Seamless Integrations: Integrates smoothly with tools like Figma, minimizing the need for manual updates.

3. User-Friendly Interface: Designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate for both designers and developers.

4. Professional Look and Feel: Produces clean, visually appealing documentation with minimal effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

1. Performance Issues with Large Libraries: When managing very large design systems, the platform can become slower.

2. Offline Access: No strong offline mode, which can be a limitation for some workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is zeroheight solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Problems that Zeroheight solves for us:

1. Without a centralized hub, guidelines, tokens, and components often live in multiple tools, making it hard to maintain consistency.

2. When design systems aren’t easily accessible, teams risk inconsistencies in UI and brand experience.

3. Traditional documentation requires constant manual updates, leading to outdated information and misalignment between design and development.

4. New designers, developers or content creator often struggle to find the right resources quickly, slowing down their productivity.

And the most important one:

5. Without a shared source of truth, communication gaps arise, causing delays and rework. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Single Source of Truth for Our Design System"

5/5

What do you like best about zeroheight?

Zeroheight makes it simple to keep our design system documentation clear, consistent, and engaging. The Figma integration and customization options mean we can scale easily while making the docs approachable for designers, developers, and leadership across the org. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

I’d love to see more robust analytics and lifecycle tracking built in, so we can better measure adoption and flag deprecated components directly in the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is zeroheight solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zeroheight solves the challenge of keeping design system documentation current and accessible across a large organization. Instead of scattered files and inconsistent guidance, we now have a single source of truth that designers, developers, and partners all rely on. This saves time, reduces confusion, and helps us showcase the value of our system to leadership, driving stronger adoption and alignment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Go-To Tool for Design System Documentation"

5/5

What do you like best about zeroheight?

I appreciate zeroheight's ability to scale our design system across a cross-functional organization and make documentation significantly more accessible, especially to non-designers. The synced blocks and use of templates, along with its simple user interface and paired-back inline editors, greatly benefit my documentation process. The ease of use, familiarity with the tool, and excitement over the newly available features, like the analytics tool and adaptation capabilities, are highly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

I find that it takes a significant amount of time to load design files, especially when syncing with embedded Figma files. This is something I see as a necessary improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is zeroheight solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use the product to scale and document our design system, making it significantly more accessible across our cross-functional organization, especially for non-designers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zeroheight has been a great fit for our team."

5/5

What do you like best about zeroheight?

We’re able to fully utilize the features we need right now, while leaving room to grow into others as our needs evolve. It delivers exactly what we’re looking for and stands out for its ease of use and straightforward implementation—especially when compared to similar products. The support from the Zeroheight team has been excellent; they’re clearly passionate about their product and genuinely invested in helping their users succeed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

The editor can feel a bit clunky at times, especially in the absence of a robust undo feature or a reliable publish/recovery system. These limitations can make editing workflows feel less confident and more error-prone than they should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is zeroheight solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zeroheight allows us to document and share our design system documenation with internal teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Easy to use."

4.5/5

What do you like best about zeroheight?

Adding and editing content in Zeroheight is very easy to do. The new larger menu for adding different kinds of content to a page makes it simple and fast to get your work done. Also, the page templates are super helpful, especially for new users. We also appreciated the quarterly meetings with our Customer Success Manager. She and ZH support were always responsive to inquiries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

Having to publish an entire styleguide all at the same time was sometimes a problem. We had to set up organized releases every 2 weeks so that we did not accidentally publish work that was not ready to go out. It would be nice to be able to publish a page at a time, Yes, you can hide new pages until they are ready to be published but pages that are being edited cannot be hidden. We use 5 styleguides concurrently so having a coordinated release process was necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is zeroheight solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zeroheight allows us to have multiple style guides that can be owned and updated by different teams. We use 5 primary style guides for Components, Foundational information, Accessibility,Analytics and Tagging, etc.... A wealth of information can be shared with our digital community that works on building our world-class website and mobile app. This allows everyone to have access to the same design system information and allows us to maintain our digital standards. Access to the published site does not require sign in. We wanted to make the information as easy to access as possible. We chose not to set up SSO initially for this purpose.
