The extremely high and confusing processing fees. I have to explain that to each and every client who gets our Zeffy link. Sometimes they get too confused and refuse to pay because they thought we were sneaking in extra charges. I understand why Zeffy needs to ask for processing fees, but 15% is absurdly high. The idea that Zeffy is built for fundraisers makes it an ideal platform for non-profits. It's customizable enough to cater to a variety of applications, including event registrations, which is our primary use. As a web developer, I have to look at all available options before starting to build from scratch. I researched Zeffy for my 501-c-3 client and learned how Zeffy connected many of our needs together in a single package. This saved me huge amounts of time and my client many, many dollars. I appreciate the simplicity and no fees with Zeffy. I really like that it offers a download in Excel format, which makes it easy to sort and change the data, and create necessary reports for registration at various checkpoints like the check-in desk and raffles. The initial setup was very easy for me, thanks to my banking background. I've had some issues with using Zeffy for a couple of different campaigns, where each campaign has its own QR code. It's been a bit challenging explaining to the different members who are not technology-oriented that you can't just use a QR code over and over again. You have to use the specific QR code for the specific campaign. Maybe Zeffy could offer a master QR code, so that all the different campaigns can have the same QR code. Zeffy is a fantastic payment processing tool with many helpful additions. We previously used Wix payment processing, but it charged 5.8% and Zeffy charges 0% plus Zeffy is much easier to use. Wix is cumbersome, time consuming and frustrating. We, also, use Zeffy for email distributions and it costs nothing. As a nonprofit struggling with a budget, Zeffy is amazing. For the most part Zeffy is great, but it could improve things like text wrapping, scaling of a pic/image/graphic. It is a free tool, so the features aren't advanced. You get what you pay for... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
