best about Zeffy? No fees strucutre means a lot to small NPOs, and I work for several of them in various capacities. I had no idea that we could set up a storefront for one or put a "tap and go" donation (no tax receipt, of course) in place for an event. What do you dislike about Zeffy? In order to continue to offer the free service to the NPOs and charities, Zeffy still needs to raise money themselves. Some of my donors have found the optional Zeffy support hard to figure out how to skip if they were not in a place to donate there as well. I worked professionally as a consultant to NPOs and interfaces with many fundraising platforms. Zeffy was by far the easiest to set up and administer, I now use it as a volunteer board member for a school in Guatemala. The only downside I've experienced is the confusion that can be caused if a donor makes an unsolicited donation and becomes confused by the request for donation made by Zeffy. Zeffy is very easy to use and manage. For our school sports' team, we use it in a multitude of ways, from summer camps to fundraising to merchandise sales. One of my only hang-ups with Zeffy is how it organizes sales and campaigns. When I go to search for users, it always organizes my search by who purchased or signed up for the campaign. As a sports team, it would be much more beneficial and easier to organize if I can choose other ways to search and list my purchases, like by athlete name. No charge to the organization using it - we keep 100 % of payments; easy to run reports, it communicates exceedingly well with those of us running the campaign/event AND with donors/attendees. As a small, volunteer-run nonprofit, keeping our fundraising costs as low as possible is essential. Before Zeffy, every donation platform took a percentage of our donations, which meant less money reaching the people we serve. Zeffy solved that problem by allowing us to accept donations without mandatory platform fees, so more of every contribution goes directly to our humanitarian programs. Zeffy has also simplified our operations by giving us one platform to manage donations, event registrations, and our online store. Instead of juggling multiple systems, we can spend more time focusing on our mission—providing clean water, food, and other emergency assistance to displaced families in Gaza—and less time on administrative work. We have been using Zeffy's platform for almost a full year and have experienced exceptional customer service, excellent and user-friendly tools, helpful suggestions, templates and integrations which make our work more streamlined and strategic, and fantastic reports. We love the zero-fee model and Zeffy even provides tools to help us educate our donors and potential donors on why this method is better for our organization. We are consistently impressed by Zeffy. While the CRM is a wonderful tool, we cannot track volunteer hours within the software, and therefore must use alternative software. Otherwise, we have zero complaints. Zeffy solves our donor reporting problem as well as our tax receipting problems by providing excellent tools and reporting capabilities. What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you? For years, we were limited to cash only, and missed many sales. Customers wanted to buy, but would say "I'll be back" when we told them we only take cash. They would always say, "Can I use a card?" We sell novelty products that often have to be ordered and customized, and people were reluctant to use their limited cash on a item they have to wait for. Our sales immediately increased when we started using Zeffy, and we never looked back. The system is secure and easy to use, and employees learn the system quickly. I like that it's easy to use both from the administrator side and customer side. It's very easy to build event ticketing pages and donation pages. I love that I can include logos and images to theme our donation/event campaigns. Customers and donors have found it easy to use and I have no received any negative feedback from them. I have used the newsletter templates for our monthly newsletter and it can sometimes be slow to design depending on the template and limited in the editing features that I have. It is also not seamless in the different email platforms and can look different from one email provider to the next. It makes it hard to edit it within Zeffy and see it look different in email. Now we have a donate button on our page that allows donors to make donations at any time. There are so many great features that every time we learn a new one we get excited. We can do all our program registration & events in Zeffy and the setup is really easy (we are getting rid of our previous platform); the events page that we can just add to our website; the Charitable Receipts autosend; the automatic refund feature for cancelled tickets; the no fee processing; . We tried making a newsletter and it doesn't portray images the same in emails as it does when creating it - even the template we chose without changing anything was very skewed so we haven't been able to take advantage of that (maybe a newsletter with no images would be ok).
