What do you dislike about Zapworks? An issue I have is when I'm in the field demonstrating, even the slightest flatter on the image gets in the way of reading the tracking image. I am adding content into a limited space. One of the solutions is to create a book and inside that book to add content through videos. The overall versatility of ZapWorks is excellent, it allows us to attach almost any kind of digital content to printed materials, faces and planes. The app and sofware development side of things is handled well by the Zappar team so we can concentrate purely on the fun part of creating engaging AR content. Zapwork is good designer and developer tools with many drag and drop features, providing all in one solutions as a platform to deliver immersive reality experiences. Breakdown of Zapwork into designer, developer and studio provides multi scene AR creation tools. What makes zap-work even handy is you need no prior knowledge of AR or even nominal knowledge of computer to start with zap work, while for a skilled developer as well there are high customization options available to deliver quality experiences. 3D models, custom buttons , photo albums, widgets are to name few. Zapwork studio is an all rounder platform to create immersive experiences Zapper has several tools that serve almost all aspects of creating a full AR Experience. Zapworks Designer and Zappar Studio. Designer for Cloud based AR experiences and Studio allows to serve custom solution with more functionality to modify and tailor solution to specific need with much more control. Proving the user with several tools make Zapper one of the easiest way to create a starter application for an Ameature as well as serving high end business solution to an experienced developer. Zapworks is expensive, the enterprise solution pricing is a lot expensive as compared to its competitors though it relieves the customer as it enables user to focus only on AR thus creating and deploying the application on android and iOS by its native application , removing watermarks from application thus providing user with its own native proprietor application but this all comes with a big price tag. Zapworks is a handy set of tools for AR designers and developers helps the user to create various kinds of extended reality immersive experiences for Mobile devices and AR Sets. ZapWorks provided widget a designer and everything bundled up into a studio to users for their tailored needs. On-Screen help and tutorials are handy for people new to AR and to kick off with their first AR app. Creating a simple AR experience is easy while integrating common features like Audio, Video, and images. Being a proprietary software ZapWorks restricts the user for many things, for some features that are easily available with other SDK's like Vuforia, AR Core, AR Kit like Scanning a customer Code (QR Code, VuMark of vuforia). ZapWorks is a very versatile and can be used for simple video-based augmentations as well as very complex and interactive 3D works. With Zappar, almost anything can be achieved one way or another and it is always great to see the wow-effect of augmented reality. ZapBox, a recent addition to the ZapWorks family increases this wow-effect even more. ZapWorks handles the software/infrastructure/cloud side of things very well and allows us, designers, to concentrate on only the fun part (=design & implementation!). Some restrictions like flat target images (not round surface or 3d tracking) and they must include the zapcode limit some possible use scenarios. I have started developing interactive experiences and more immersive training options for the learners and Zapworks has allowed us to enhance and expand on that. The ease of use to get started creating and the possibility of more advanced development through scripting makes this a valuable fit for the team. We have a wide range of coding experience between the group of developers and Zapworks studio allows for all of us to get involved at some level in the creation of training. It comes with the best AR tools to develop immersive and interactive Augmented Reality apps. Face tracking and video widgets are some of the features I personally like. To be honest, Zapworks if packed with features and tools and there is nothing I dislike. Even a layman in AR development can learn from the easy interface they have provided.
