"Streamlined Client Management with Intuitive Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I love the text communication feature of Zanda, which provides an interface that's much easier than other software and allows seamless continuation of conversations after a psychologist has already interacted with a client. I appreciate Zanda for being very user-friendly and intuitive, where I can find settings where I would expect them to be, unlike other software that might place them in strange locations. The ability to autofill fields in GP letters is another feature I love, making it extremely easy to just fill out a template and then send it. Additionally, tracking calendar year sessions for Medicare compliance is particularly valuable, offering an efficient way to manage such important tasks. The software also manages client bookings effectively through a clear visual calendar, with functionalities to set certain days specifically for telehealth or face-to-face appointments at various locations. The automatic sending of appropriate reminders for the right locations and the ease of managing appointment changes through text communication are aspects that make the booking process very streamlined. I find the initial setup of Zanda extremely easy as all the settings are easy to locate and modify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I find the referral management process in Zanda to be more complicated than necessary. Simplifying the process of storing referrals in the same place as the client's file, and tracking calendar year sessions and referral sessions automatically, would greatly enhance the workflow. Having to add a session pack to track these automatically feels like an unnecessary step. Additionally, I would prefer to have direct access to a client's email communication page through a simple click on the email in their profile pop-up. This would make managing communications more efficient. Furthermore, when entering details for a new referrer, I wish there were more comprehensive fields available upfront, such as work phone, fax, and address, so that all necessary information could be entered in one step without needing to revisit the entry. "Intuitive Interface with Seamless Communication Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I love Zanda's user-friendly interface, which makes it considerably simpler to use than some of its competitors. The text conversation view stands out as it enables me to see back-and-forth communications, facilitating quick and efficient client interaction. Sending GP letters is incredibly intuitive; I appreciate the ease of generating letters swiftly using saved templates and populating them with client appointment details. I find the ability to include dynamic content, such as appointment dates, in intake form emails particularly valuable, as it allows us to send comprehensive emails without manual data entry. This feature is unique and enhances our workflow efficiency. Additionally, the initial setup of Zanda is straightforward, with helpful support pages contributing to a seamless onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I find the referral adding process in Zanda cumbersome because I have to set up session packs manually, which adds an unnecessary step to the process. This step is helpful for tracking calendar year limits, but having everything — like the referral, the referral file, and tracking — integrated in one place would be more efficient. It would also be better if referrals could automatically set up the relevant session pack, streamlining the workflow and saving time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Irina Shvetsova of Zanda (formerly Power Diary)

Hi Kate, thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review, we’re really glad to hear how Zanda is supporting your workflow. It’s wonderful that the intuitive interface, text conversation view, and streamlined GP letter process have made your day-to-day communication smoother. We’re also really happy to hear that dynamic content in intake form emails has been valuable for reducing manual steps and keeping your correspondence accurate and efficient. And it’s great that the setup process and support resources helped you get started with confidence.

We also appreciate your feedback about the referral process. You’ve highlighted a very meaningful point — having referrals, files, and session tracking more closely integrated, and having session packs created automatically — and we'll pass it to the product team for review and consideration.

Thank you again for sharing your experience and ideas with us. We’re committed to making Zanda even more intuitive and efficient, and we’re always here whenever you need a hand or have further suggestions.

"Effortless Clinic Administration with Clear Visibility"
4/5
What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I really appreciate how Zanda (formerly Power Diary) lays everything out clearly, which allows me to see all the necessary information at a glance without having to delve deep into the backend. This clear visibility is a significant advantage because it helps me manage appointments efficiently, check payment statuses, and see Medicare rebate eligibility, all in one place. It's all available on a single page, making navigation easy and intuitive. Furthermore, I found the initial setup to be exceptionally straightforward. Everything was easy to set up, organize, and get ready, which makes starting off with Zanda hassle-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I wish that when I click on the Medicare button or the invoice button, it would automatically open in a separate window rather than overriding the current window. However, it's a minor issue since there's a workaround for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Irina Shvetsova of Zanda (formerly Power Diary)

Hi Melissa, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. It’s wonderful to hear how Zanda’s clear layout and at-a-glance visibility are helping make your clinic administration smoother and more efficient. We’re delighted that having appointments, payment statuses, and Medicare rebate information all on a single page has been useful for you, and that the initial setup felt easy and hassle-free.

We also appreciate you mentioning the window-opening behaviour for Medicare and invoice pages. Feedback like this is incredibly helpful, and we understand how automatically opening these sections in a separate window would make navigation even more convenient. It’s a great suggestion, and we’ll ensure it’s shared with our product team as we continue improving the user experience.

Thank you again for your thoughtful review — we’re really glad Zanda is supporting your daily workflow, and we’re always here whenever you need a hand or have more ideas to share. Warm regards, Irina

"Efficient Practice Management with Seamless Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I really appreciate how Zanda (formerly Power Diary) provides a comprehensive solution for managing a psychology practice efficiently. The clear and user-friendly layout of the client's profile menus, including profile, appointments, and billing details, makes navigation intuitive and simplifies our workflow. The software's capability to seamlessly integrate with other tools such as Stripe, Xero, and GoFax enhances its functionality significantly. This integration allows us to process payments directly within Zanda, reducing the hassle of switching between different platforms. The Stripe integration, in particular, is very beneficial as it streamlines our payment processing. Additionally, the ability to directly export income and invoices to Xero from Zanda is a huge time-saver and facilitates smooth financial operations. The setup process was also impressive, as the setup wizard was incredibly helpful, simplifying the initial configuration and making the client import/export feature an invaluable asset for a hassle-free data transfer. The ease of tracking client session counts on referrals in Zanda, in contrast to my previous experience with Halaxy, is another aspect I appreciate, as it helps us keep organized and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I find it inconvenient that I cannot refund a client payment directly in Zanda (formerly Power Diary) when it was taken via Stripe. Instead, I must log into Stripe separately to issue refunds. If we can take payments via Stripe in Zanda, it would be immensely beneficial to also refund them through the same platform, avoiding the need to switch to Stripe directly. Additionally, I wish there was an improvement in handling referrer information. When we save a referrer's contact details, the clinic's contact information should automatically appear for all practitioners associated with that clinic. For instance, if one patient is referred by a doctor at a clinic, the clinic’s contact details should seamlessly apply to any other practitioner we add from that same clinic, without needing to manually add this information to each practitioner’s profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Irina Shvetsova of Zanda (formerly Power Diary)

Hi Serenna, thank you so much for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review, we’re truly grateful. It’s wonderful to hear how Zanda is helping streamline your practice, from the clarity of the client profile layout to the seamless integrations with tools like Stripe, Xero, and GoFax. We’re especially glad that the setup wizard and import/export options made your onboarding smooth, and that session tracking on referrals is supporting your workflow in a more organised way.

We also really appreciate you highlighting the areas that could be improved, such as Stripe refunds and referrer information handling. We'll pass it on to our product team for review and consideration. In the meantime, we can recommend copying an existing referrer profile to new to transfer all business contact details to a new referrer from the same practice instead of manually re-entering them. We hope you find this workaround helpful.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and suggestions. We’re committed to making Zanda even more efficient and intuitive, and we’re always here whenever you need support or have ideas to share. Warm regards, Irina.

One of the standout features is the comprehensive support offered by the team, which is of paramount importance to me. I always feel supported and can rely on receiving prompt responses whenever I encounter an issue, have a learning need, or face a challenging situation while using the system. Their customer support team is consistent in being readily available to assist and offer the guidance I need. Furthermore, Zanda effectively consolidates all practice management elements—scheduling, invoicing, video calling, client communication, and note storage—into one platform, which streamlines my operations. This amalgamation of core components significantly enhances our efficiency. Additionally, Zanda provides a practice manual feature that allows us to upload and access policies and procedures for our practitioners at any time, which is invaluable for maintaining consistent standards and accessibility. Overall, the company’s willingness to meet for video calls and answer questions enhances my experience and reassures me that all necessary support will be provided to help me use the system effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I think the application is quite complex to grasp initially, which can pose difficulties, especially for new therapists trying to get accustomed to it. There may be opportunities to improve the user interface to reduce complexity. Besides this, I really appreciate the recent update allowing practitioners to only see their own clients. I also believe there remains opportunities to enhance the overall user experience and functionality further, especially in building automations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Administration but Needs Improved Room Booking"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I really appreciate the ability to customize each practitioner's profile on Zanda, which allows for different levels of access needed for various practitioners, enhancing our operational flexibility. The platform is notably easy to use, which simplifies our daily tasks and reduces training time for new staff. I am fond of the platform’s layout, which is well-organized and visually appealing, making navigation intuitive. Another great feature is the AI chatbot, which is incredibly helpful as it allows practitioners to quickly get answers to their questions without having to consult the head of administration, thus improving workflow efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I dislike the lack of functionality for configuring room bookings in Zanda (formerly Power Diary). Currently, rooms can only be added as resources, which has led to several issues. I am unable to select a room or book it out for the day, which is a significant limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Scheduling, Challenging Setup"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I appreciate Zanda (formerly Power Diary) for its essential role in my daily operations, particularly the calendar feature and the way it seamlessly links with Google Calendar. This integration is crucial for managing appointments effectively. I find the manual invoicing useful and am keen on switching to automatic invoicing to streamline processes further. Additionally, the capability to track my earnings is a valuable aspect that helps in financial management. Despite my limited tech knowledge, these features make Zanda indispensable for my work. I have found it amazing in handling patient management and scheduling, which is vital for my operations. These features contribute to my decision to maintain a subscription, as they provide the necessary functionality for the tasks I regularly perform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

Setting up Zanda was very difficult for me due to my lack of technical expertise. I believe a more guided setup process, such as a Zoom session with a real person, would greatly help. Moreover, I've spent hours trying to set up features like automatic invoicing without success, which is frustrating. Although I’ve recommended Zanda to colleagues, many find it too challenging to set up and give up. I wish Zanda would check in with customers to provide personalized assistance and ensure we're making the most of all features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I have been using Zanda (formerly Power Diary) for six years in our multidisciplinary allied health practice, and I am thoroughly impressed with its features and functionalities. The software supports a variety of services, including physiotherapy, podiatry, clinical psychology, dietetics, and group classes, making it versatile and comprehensive for our needs. I love the AI notes feature and the telehealth function, which proved invaluable, especially during the COVID lockdown in Melbourne, enabling quick and efficient service delivery. The reporting capabilities are outstanding, allowing easy exportation into Excel to analyze data and run personalized metrics. I find the templates extremely beneficial for streamlining communications via text messages, emails, and letters, and they are particularly helpful for creating discipline-specific templates for different professionals like psychologists and physiotherapists. Additionally, the support from the Zanda team has been exceptional, especially during the transition phase when they helped us export data from our previous software. The tutorials available on their website make mastering new features straightforward. Overall, the smooth communication, innovative features, and continuous support from the Zanda team make the software incredibly reliable, efficient, and exciting to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I would love to see improved insights regarding how the client portal is being used. Specifically, it would be beneficial to understand who is accessing the client portal and to what extent they are engaging with it. This feature is essential for optimizing our interaction with clients, and I understand it is in the product's development plan, but it is not currently available.
