It is an open source, easy to use and implement, heterogeneous environment-friendly, as I don't need to use variety of modules individually for storage, servers, network, etc.

It compiles all in one console and provides a single platform for usage, which makes it easier for a large scale organization to have everything on a single screen.

I can say that with Zabbix we can monitor practically everything that is on the computer network such as UPS, servers, temperature control, ports, applications, services, data centers, websites, etc. In other words, it monitors/manages everything that has Ethernet.
