"Great Products, Customer Service, And Compliance Enabling Peace of Mind!"
5/5
What do you like best about YubiKey?

The price per key is decently priced. But ultimately them having FIPS validation ensures that I pass a huge cyber security compliance obligation from FBI CJIS as well as NIST standards. Beyond the product is the people, they have incredible customer service. Unparalleled to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YubiKey?

I dislike that I cannot afford to hire them. Joking aside, I have zero dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Number One Thing You Can Do To Improve Your Security"
5/5
What do you like best about YubiKey?

It's the best value in cybersecurity. Mandatory for everyone on our team because it allows us to enhance security for even non-technical users. We just buy the device, configure it once, then their security is amplified for the duration of their employment.

We use it every day for every employee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YubiKey?

The Yubico desktop app needs work on Mac. It hangs up and has to be killed manually from time to time... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and Reliable Authentication with Yubico"
5/5
What do you like best about YubiKey?

Yubico’s hardware-based authentication provides an exceptional level of security. The YubiKey is easy to use, quick to set up, and works seamlessly across various platforms and services. Its compatibility with multiple authentication protocols like FIDO2, OTP, and WebAuthn makes it highly versatile. Additionally, the offline authentication feature is extremely helpful when working in restricted or no-internet environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YubiKey?

The only downside is the limited support for some legacy applications that do not integrate with modern authentication standards. Also, for new users, the initial configuration can seem a bit technical. However, once set up, it works flawlessly.

In our organisation we face a lot of issues when we integrate yubikey c series with azue AD connected Devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Yubikeys help secure Critical Infrastructure"
5/5
What do you like best about YubiKey?

We specifically picked Yubikeys because they gave us the ability to have MFA without the need for Internet access (as many power control systems are not connected to the cloud). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YubiKey?

No issues with Yubikey. Programming and usage was straight forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of use, perfect for 2FA"
5/5
What do you like best about YubiKey?

It makes a strong 2 factor authentication for any app or website. Sinced it's using a physical key, it's highly secure. It's very easy to use with a PC via the USB port or with a mobile with the RFID chip, one tap to access all you 2FA passcodes. I use it everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YubiKey?

I don't have any downside I can think of, maybe the fact that you need to always carry it with you, but it's easy to attach it to your keychain. I also bought a second one for backup in case I lose the first one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great security key"
4.5/5
What do you like best about YubiKey?

Its a unique software and adds two layers of security that traditional MFAs can't match up to. And despite this its very user-friendly. Virtual support from models like U2F ensures my content is safe and secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YubiKey?

While it offers services that other MFA software cant, it also charges a heavy price for these services. Thus investment into Yubico only makes sense if you are part of a large organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Yubikey as MFA solution factor"
4.5/5
What do you like best about YubiKey?

I have been using this yubikey physical device since last 6 months when I joined current organization. In my current organization, yubikey is being used as MFA solution which is paired with PingID. As per current client security policy, some phone device model are not allowed to pair with pingid so here in this case, yubikey can be used to authenticate users as multi factor authentication.

The best part I like about yubikey is, it does not require finger print. When paired and asked for MFA, you just need to insert yubikey device in system and touch the yubikey and a random code will be generated from there which will authenticate you. Very easy to use. If anything goes wrong in yubikey configuration we can recreate configuration using yubico manager or yubikey personalization tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about YubiKey?

In the last section, I mentioned about yubico manager tool. With the help of this tool, we can reset PIN for yubikey and create new configuration as well. One thing I dislike about yubikey is, suppose user forgot yubikey PIN and want to reset the PIN. They installed yubico manager which required admin rights to install and also after opening the application, the sector for yubikey PIN reset also requires admin rights in the system then only users will be able to reset the PIN. The some of the organization does not allow to employees have admin rights on system. It voilates security standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
