Definitely recommended! Once you get used to it, you will really love it." 3.5/5 What do you like best about YOURLS? The reason I like it is because it is free and-open source. And another great feature about this product is it could be used as Private - your links only or Public - anyone can create short links, it also provides traffic statistics, location and sources, good for developers as it is available on GitHub, jsonp support, ajax dashboard, plugins to avoid bloating when customizing, etc among lot of other things. Also, the number od plugins available are constantly growing and I would expect it to grow even more in the future as it is open-source and people will keep contributing to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about YOURLS? It is not really an issue but I do not find the installation straight-forward. You need to perform multiple steps and also some additional database configuration which I dislike. Also, when I was on their website the website did seem to be attractive, though that is not an issue and does not make the product less useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering YOURLS: Definitely worth trying once to get past the installation stuff. Especially for developers it is really useful and has documentation on how to install. There is also some external documentation I guess available related to this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is YOURLS solving and how is that benefiting you? We wanted to have something which is free and open-source and wanted some custom changes made to it which would make the product more usable and close to what we want to use it for.
