"Capturing Customers + Auto Receptionist + Seamless Remote Content Updates"
What do you like best about Yodeck?

I am a small business owner of a studio that teaches private music lessons. We run the Yodeck player in the lobby for the parents waiting while their kids are in the classrooms. We run entertainment, announcements, featured teachers, weather and our own commercials, etc.

I love that I can work on producing content at home when I have time, then continue when I get to the studio seamlessly. I can start uploading/encoding a video (for example) before I leave for work, then drop it in a playlist and push to the screen when I get to the office. So convenient.

I also love the small footprint of the player and that I can see the status of the player from anywhere I can use a browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

Although the onboarding was relatively straightforward (I purchased a pre-configured player from Yodeck), some of the terminology and workflow took some getting used to and had to get GPT to assist in certain places. I think a series of more detailed tutorial videos would be a great future addition.

That said, it was not a bad experience to get up and running, and if I had an IT department I'm sure they would have no problem at all, but it was new technology to me so tutorials for "dummies" would be a great addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Digital Signage with Powerful Scheduling and Great Value"
What do you like best about Yodeck?

The platform is very user-friendly, even for non-technical users. Setting up screens and pushing content is straightforward. Being able to manage screens remotely from anywhere is a huge plus, especially across multiple locations. Compared to other digital signage platforms, Yodeck offers excellent value for money, especially with the Raspberry Pi player included. Supports a wide range of media types (images, videos, PDFs, web pages, dashboards), making it versatile for different use cases. The scheduling system is powerful and easy to use—great for automating content changes. Once set up, it runs consistently with minimal downtime. Works well with dashboards, Google Slides, and other tools, which is useful for business environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

While functional, parts of the UI feel slightly dated or less polished compared to premium competitors. More complex layouts or highly customised designs can be tricky without workarounds. The layout editor can take a bit of getting used to, especially when creating more advanced screen designs. Content updates don’t always push instantly to devices. Being cloud-based means you rely on stable connectivity for updates and management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User Friendly & Enterprise-Grade Digital Signage Made Easy with Yodeck"
What do you like best about Yodeck?

What I like best about Yodeck is how it balances a powerful, enterprise-grade backend with an incredibly low barrier to entry. The drag-and-drop file manager is a workflow dream, allowing you to move assets from your desktop directly to the screen while the system handles all the heavy lifting of scaling and optimization. Beyond the ease of content management, their App Gallery is exceptionally robust compared to other platforms; having access to over 100+ free apps—including Power BI, Canva, and social media feeds—gives you the same versatility as high-end competitors like ScreenCloud or OptiSigns but at a much more accessible price point. Ultimately, its seamless Raspberry Pi integration and the flexibility of the WebPlayer option make it one of the most reliable and easy-to-deploy digital signage solutions on the market.

Seamless Deployment: The Raspberry Pi integration is a game-changer. It makes physical player setup nearly foolproof, which is critical because a management platform is only as good as how easily you can actually get it onto a screen.

Intuitive File Management: The drag-and-drop manager removes the friction of typical CMS uploads. Being able to move assets from your desktop directly to the library—while the system handles the scaling and optimization—is a massive time-saver for daily operations.

High-Value App Gallery: Unlike some competitors that gate-keep premium integrations, YoDeck offers a library of 100+ free apps (including Power BI, Canva, and social feeds). It provides the "enterprise feel" of platforms like ScreenCloud or OptiSigns but at a much more accessible price point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

While Yodeck is a powerhouse for value, its biggest drawback is the steeper learning curve of its dashboard compared to "plug-and-play" rivals; navigating the content hierarchy and advanced settings can feel a bit buried for first-time users. Additionally, while the App Gallery is vast, some of the most sought-after integrations—like Power BI or advanced Microsoft 365 features—are locked behind higher-tier paid plans, which can be a hurdle for small teams on a budget. The built-in creative editor is also somewhat basic, meaning you’ll often find yourself designing content in external tools like Canva or Express to get a truly polished look. Finally, while the Raspberry Pi integration is seamless, users running the software on alternative hardware like Fire Sticks or Android TV may notice a slightly clunkier interface and fewer remote management features than the native Yodeck Player. "Simple, Reliable Digital Signage That Just Works"
What do you like best about Yodeck?

Yodeck is incredibly easy to use and reliable, which is huge when you’re managing multiple screens. The interface is clean, scheduling content is straightforward, and once everything is set up, it just works. I especially like how simple it is to push updates across multiple displays without needing to touch each device. It’s also very flexible with different media types, and the overall stability makes it great for environments where you need screens running 24/7 without babysitting them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

There are definitely some limitations, especially when it comes to more advanced customization. Certain layouts and dynamic content options can feel a bit restrictive, and troubleshooting isn’t always as intuitive as it could be. When something goes wrong, it can take a bit of digging to figure out the root cause, especially compared to more enterprise-heavy solutions. Also, depending on your setup, performance can vary slightly across devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Menu Magic on Screen: Our Take on Yodeck Display System"
What do you like best about Yodeck?

If you're looking for a Free one-screen solution that works well with Raspberry Pi, making it cost-effective and stable. It is the magic sauce when it comes to supporting videos, images, PowerPoint, PDFs, YouTube, weather widgets, and most of all RSS feeds, and the paid plans are competitively priced. Includes SSL encryption, user role permissions, and other enterprise-grade security features, making it security-compliant. Easy to follow setup, great information, and support. This is a worthwhile product to consider for remote maintenance of your menu boards and digital signage needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

While it supports many widgets, integration with platforms like Google Workspace, Salesforce, or custom APIs is more manual or limited compared to enterprise-level systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rock-Solid Digital Signage with Flexible Players, Remote Management, and Fast Support"
What do you like best about Yodeck?

As a Senior IT person, I prioritize systems that don't require constant manual intervention. Here are the three standout features that make it the right fit for our dental practice:

Exceptional Hardware Flexibility: The support for multiple player types—including Android, Raspberry Pi, and Web players—is a massive advantage. We currently use the Android player to stream our patient education, treatment highlights, and clinic awards directly to the waiting area TV, and the performance has been rock-solid.

Highly Responsive Support: In the two instances where I needed technical assistance, their team was incredibly fast to respond with functional workarounds. Knowing that there is an agile, technically-competent support team behind the product gives me a lot of confidence in the platform.

Remote Management & Automation: The ability to push updates to our screens instantly from my laptop—without ever needing to touch a USB stick or walk into the clinic—is a huge time-saver. It allows us to keep our clinical technology showcases and recognitions current with zero friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

While the platform is robust, I did encounter a few technical friction points that required manual intervention:

Third-Party Video Stability: I faced consistent issues when trying to pull video playback directly from YouTube and Vimeo. The streams would occasionally fail or stutter, which isn't ideal for a professional waiting area. My workaround was to download the files and upload them directly to the Yodeck cloud. While this solved the issue completely, it added an extra step to the workflow that I’d prefer to see automated more reliably.

Initial Learning Curve: The dashboard is incredibly feature-rich, but that can make it feel a bit "clunky" or overwhelming at first. For advanced layouts, there’s a definite learning curve before you can get things exactly right.

That said, the highly responsive support team made these issues much easier to manage. I had to contact them twice, and both times they were quick to provide a fix or a solid workaround while their engineering team addressed the root issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, with Helpful & Knowledgeable Reps."
What do you like best about Yodeck?

I like the customization choices and its ability to hold a database of files within it to choose from.

Helpful customer service staff, knowledgeable and able to find info to help me

out, despite my issue being on our end, not Yodeck's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

Sometimes the fact that it is over the internet can be annoying, like when it loses connection briefly, but I can't see a great alternative method either. Overall it works very well.

I didn't love dealing with the chat bot at the beginning. I would prefer to be

matched with a CS rep right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

I like all the features of Yodeck. I just need more editable controls in menu editing inside Yodeck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Yodeck Cut Our Church Signage Setup Time in Half"
What do you like best about Yodeck?

Yodeck has saved me time setting up signage every week at our church. I probably spent 20-30 minutes a week turning our screens on and selecting graphics from a flash drive. And on top of that once or twice a month I would spend another hour loading new graphics to the flash drives. Now it takes half of the time to update graphics. The customer support has been great too, it's probably the best ai support bot I've interacted with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodeck?

There have been slight compatibility issues with using yodeck and amazon signage stick together. If I would have known this I would've started with yodeck players instead to see if that would be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
