What do you like best about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

The best part about YAMM is the fact that it's free of cost. Fifty bulk emails every day with Analytics. (Sounds great, right!!) Click-through rate, CTOR, and many other important KPIs- help you with every one of them.

What do you dislike about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

It has a limit of 50 emails a day which is a big challenge, though it gets refilled. If you are sending bulk emails in one go- this can be a great tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM):

Make the tool much more customer intuitive. It takes some effort to set it up at first. Also maybe if they can increase the limit to 100 emails a day Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helps me with Bulk email campaigns. Often I have to email campaigns where I can have all key metrics involved with it. Yet another mail merge works excellent. It brings complete sense to how many folks have opened it vs. how many have clicked on the Link. And all this for free. What do you like best about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

Using google smtp to send emails to engage with customers and potential clients is an excellent option available in the early stages of a business because it helps lower costs while building the audience.

YAMM provides options to customize emails per individual and, also, a way to send attachments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

The free version is limited to 50 emails per day, and the setup can be confusing for someone who isn't used to installing plugins and similar activities. While this is not in YAMM's control, even in the paid versions of the software, sending emails will be limited by the maximum allowed by Google.

These limits are about 400 and 1,500 per day, depending on having a personal Gmail account or Workspace account, respectively.

Keep this in mind because Google is strict about not using their SMTP for email marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

One thing I don't like about Yet Another Mail Merge is its daily limits to send emails. YAMM is allowed to send limited emails per day for free. If it removes an limit it would be great for small businesses like mine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

YAMM simplifies the process of sending out email campaigns while also providing insights after the fact to help with lead prioritization. You need to use an Excel report or Google Sheet with YAMM to specify which individuals to include in your email blast, but after you send out the emails, YAMM shows you on this report which emails were opened and how many times, which emails responded, which emails bounced back, and which emails are yet to be opened. YAMM also sends you an email recapping this information as well.

In addition, emails are sent out quickly no matter how many recipients there are, and you can also see previews of the emails before sending. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

Unfortunately, I no longer use YAMM because they started to charge a fee. In the past, you were able to send out a few email campaigns for free every month, but that perk is no longer available and my company will not reimburse to use this service. YAMM not only helped me prioritize my leads, but it also helped me identify "warm leads" that I otherwise would not have been aware of. By tracking which individuals responded to my email campaigns, I knew which accounts to tackle and reach out to first. On the other hands, YAMM also tracking how many times an email has been opened generates "warm leads" for me to reach out to as well. The individual may not have responded to my email, but the fact that they opened the email multiple times shows that some interest is there and would be worth a cold call. What do you like best about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

What do you dislike about Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM)?

Their customer support is responsive, but since email campaigns can be time-sensitive, I wish they had a little bit more responsive live chat team, rather than 48-72 hours over email. Also, some of their features are certainly not as robust as something like MailChimp or another platform that uses HTML. I think I've only scratched the service on capabilities, but this platform is somewhat limited to what you can hold in a Gmail email, since it's working actively with Google Sheets and Gmail. Recommendations to others considering Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM):

I think if you need something simple to onramp, easy to use, and you're willing to read a little bit of documentation, YAMM is fantastic. If you love Google Sheets, especially, this is a no-brainer.

If you need something a little more robust, with more customizable templates, or if you are wanting to manage campaigns with 1000s of customers, I would start with the free version and see what you can do from inside the YAMM portal itself.

Best of all, you get to use the word "yamm" as a verb, and there's something fun and whimsical about that.

It's not necessarily made to be a massive email campaign platform, but it's got lots going for it when it comes to something small, lean, and feasible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We receive customer feedback for our product, and we wanted a way to send personalized email responses, yet still in bulk. YAMM allows us to stay organized with Google Sheets, but to email a large number of customers all once with a fairly easy-to-build campaign setup. We've also used it to request reviews and ratings for our product, and once again, it's very easy to personalize -- especially if the email itself will maintain the same text but just a few fields need to be updated (first name, etc.). The best part about YAMM is that you can send emails to multiple people on a spreadsheet without having the weird templates that many other email campaign software have.
