One of Yellowfin’s biggest strengths is its user-friendly interface. As a dev with a few years under my belt YellowFin has been the number one project I am eager to work on. I love the ease of connection to my client databases so I can hook in queries and just start building charts and systems! Additionally I am a HUGE fan of support. Most vendors I work with have a very lack luster support team but every time I email, zoom, or call yellow fin is right there and knows how to help or explain things. I am not a very big fan of the user interface. While it is a powerful tool, it is not an intuitive experience and requires some tinkering to really wrap your head around things. There is a ton of trial and error to really get off the ground, and while I appreciate the complex features, they could do a much better job with logical flow of how systems interconnect instead of a vast and detailed menu system.
