Yarooms allows me and my colleagues to book meeting and work spaces easily and remotely. The website, mobile app, and web mobile versions are all seamless to use and update in real time in order for us to effectively manage use of our spaces. My company spaced small tables with AC power delivered to them outside of each space attached to the walls next to the doors. This enables the tables to continually display the Yarooms app. Users can then sign up or book the space on the tables directly, from their phone, or from their PC. In addition, the app is color-coded; green means the space is open or free to use, red means the space is booked or not free to use. YaRooms has given our team the ability to book and use spaces on a day-to-day basis, which previously required lots of back and forth emails for confirmation. Sometimes YaRooms can be difficult to integrate into Google Calendar, which our school uses for most of the event schedule. Through some workarounds, I'm able to take an .ICS file and with a Google Script, automatically populate the YaRooms events to Google. What we like best is that YArooms has a light-feeling, and yet a very powerful user interface that our users have found to be a crowd-pleaser.

I somewhat dislike having to 'waste' a room license to create compound rooms from several already-licensed rooms. The compound room feature is a great idea, but the cost of the extra room for a feature our users will only user very occasionally has limited that features use in our deployment to a single compound room. I love how easy the platform is to use for bookings. I can select between different views, and see a daily, weekly, or monthly view. I also like being able to see all the current bookings at a glance. It's also a very easy process to use YaRooms to book a room. It is easy to reserve rooms. The program is user-friendly. You can easily search the rooms and how many people can be inside the room. It also has an option to remember user for 30 days which is good for those who use the database everyday. There are apps for both Android and iPhone for ease in access. I don't have auto approval. There should be auto approval if there is no one using the room. If there is no auto approval, then the room owner should be identified including contact info so it is easy to call him or her. YAROOMS need to inter connect with either Google or Outlook Calendar.
