As a tech leader for a national entity of non-profits with events all over the country, I constantly find myself recommending Yapp to someone based on its price point, ease of use and final end product. Using Yapp, it's very easy for someone with little technical knowledge to create a robust conference/event app that will deliver the content that attendees need directly to them. It was incredibly easy to create our conference event app with Yapp--the platform is so intuitive and straightforward. I was super impressed with the quick response time of the knowledgeable and helpful support team, who responded to any questions I had within just a couple of minutes. The app was streamlined and easy to use, and we got a lot of positive feedback from our attendees. The documents we added to the app loaded really well and showed up perfectly. I loved how we were able to add so much detail to the speaker bios, workshop summaries, and overall schedule. uploading and ammeding event sessions is cumbesome. The import feature help but is reauires tweaking to make it work properly. Views for some sections need to be improved in terms of providing linkages to connected content. The inbuild polls is the only disappointing feature. voting Improvements and not deal breakers. The multi-track schedule is the best part of the app by far. Importing a csv couldn't be much easier. Our conference also engaged with the social wall quite often. Individualized schedules also was a massively utilized feature that worked without question. Also, whenever we did find a bug or issue, the Yapp team was promptly responsive and worked through the issue. Considering most conference apps are now running almost 10 times as much, while this does clearly have a look/style that you have to live with, it works reliably and well for a very reasonable budget.
