I like the easy way I can get the translation, it is clear and it does not have an ambiguous meaning, really it matches with what I am looking to translate. Also I like it has multiple translations options, it displays a grill with many meanings possibilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface! It is so clean, minimalist, even I am going to call it pretty. And well, it is still on Beta, but loved the image translation, the firts time I use it, was surprise how well, good it recognize the text on the picture but like I said, it is on beta still, so it's not perfect, translate for words, not sentences. Translate web sites and when are translate, then you can share them.

Yandex.translate has apps for Ios, Android, and Windows Phone, but only for Ios and Android works offline.

Also like the "read out loud" feacturing, it is real clear, you can understand everything very well. The voice entry, works well too, helps alot to improve the pronunciation. The thing is... like the many others translators, that does not translate full sentences, just the separate words, that way then many times, your translations do not have any sense to you, specially if you are still learning, or sometimes is just too much literal, like the other translators. It makes me wonder if all the translators have the same or common database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This translator works quite well with most languages, but I mainly use it for European languages. The things I like about it:

- it has a simple and friendly interface

- provides a keyboard on the screen for some languages (but not all of them)

- the text could be provided using the voice recording

Unfortunately it has a quite a few disadvantages:

- not all the languages are supported and not all of them have equally good translation

- sometimes it does't translate everything provided in the original text ( it simply skips some words that can change the meaning of the sentence) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since I am using yandex browser, I am also using translation service of yandex too. I think that they have nice job for translations especially in Turkish ( as far as i know they invested services in turkey including translation services too) so I am both using it like dictionary or middle sentences. Yandex translate has problems with translating long sentences but I think that all of the other translators has the same problem too. The translation technology has not really improved well yet. It would be great opportunity to get more market share in this industry if yandex invest on it but I think they do not consider that too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the yandex translator's voice input and output because it works very well not only in English but also other languages too. It translates sentences pretty accurate. I think that yandex translator does its job well done. One of the nice feature is that it allows you to see the exact translate in other translators like Google Translate and Bing Translator which is so nice! Yandex Translator also has web site translation feature which can be useful if you have no idea about the language of the website so it translate it to your language even if it is not so accurate translation. I dont really like the translation suggestion because it can be manipulated so easily because i have faced similar situation on another translator. I think that they should control the translations by not taking too many same answers but compare with a real translators' answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After the bad translation service of another search engine, I gave a chance for Yandex's translation service. I think that yandex engineers strive very much in order to make it perfect because it really makes the sentences translate well grammaticaly. Also it has easy user interface thatyou do not have to press enter for translation. Also the vocalization of the sentences are perfect for language learners. I think that the vocalization of english is like robotic. I did not face the same issue in Turkish language actually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
