It's very accurate, compared to other big Analytic tools. It's also straightforward to implement into the website, using a plugin and API. There are many statistics you can track, such as location, age and gender. Tracking all these variables helps you taget better when advertising. There are many other usefull features such as the session replay - the system is recording the movement of each respondent, who vists your site. You can see how easy have been for consumers to find what they were looking for. This in other hand could help you improve the user experience by making changes, based on what you see - the hiccups the users had while navigating across the your website. Another very usefull feature I frequently use are the click and link maps. As example of why this is helpful - if I see that most of the consumers are clicking on certain category, I can take subcategory from another main one, and put it under the one, that is prerred. What I didn't like about Yandex is that it's very complicated to start using it in the beginning. Personally I had hard time finding the login to Metrica, becouse of the many apps Yandex owns. 1. Webvisor. A demonstrative tool for just viewing user / visitor's path from the connection through all actions made and every trace coursor made - till the end of the session. GA doesn't support anything similar, and creating user paths in Amplitude may be more useful but surely more complicated.

Sometimes Yandex Metrica counts Google organic / ad traffic incorrectly, especially doesn't track Google keywords. My favorite feature is Session Replay, which pratically shows you a screen recording of users' visits to your webpage. The insights from this feature can help immensely with measuring the effectiveness of the landing page and the general webpage structure. There have been many times that we found out the organization of elements on the website isn't the most optimal by studying the behavior on the website with this tool.

The rest of the features are also implemented quite very well. The general user interface is not only pleasant to look at, but is also very clean and intuitive. No specific downsides. The tool worked very well, except I do have an impression it works better for traffic coming from Europe and Asia, areas around Russia.
