Y42 works for us, because it provides us with all opportunities to model our data exactly the way we want to. It removes the barrier to build all the data pipelines, instead one can go directly into building models, with real business impact. The only thing I would like to see added is being able to enter queries, which you enter into BigQuery, directly in Y42. Because at the moment there are a few functionalities which BigQuery offers, that aren't in Y42. Speed: The tool is incredibly fast, since it is running on BigQuery Data and Data previews are calculated with a sample. Most previews are ready in less than 10 seconds. I was also able to build the above flow while traveling by train, using only my iPhone hotspot.

Quality of Data: The Data I am getting for Facebook Ads is exactly what Facebook provides. So I can just use the Facebook documentation and also got access to a lot of information that Supermetrics e.g. does not provide. Although this information is not critical, it is quite nice.

Really easy handling of JSON Objects: They even got an integrated JSON visualizer so you don’t need to copy and paste the Objects somewhere. Since the software is being developed so fast, there are some minor bugs from time to time. However, none of those caused the data to be off, because most of them were only happening in the user interface. This makes y42 one of the most reliable tools that I have ever used in this area. Y42 is very easy to implement and doesn't require extensive resources or know-how to keep it running. The tool connects with pretty much any data source you can think of, and even if something is missing, Y42 is keen to add new integrations. I'm responsible for delivering reports inside my company. While simple use cases like financial reporting are okish in google-sheets, advanced use-cases like marketing attribution have been close to impossible for me to build with our existing tooling. After some google search, I found Datos and was able to convince my boss to start a PoC. By now, I'm able to automate most of my report work and add new use-cases at a much faster pace than before. I can integrate with all of our advertising tools and set-up proper Marketing Attribution reports. My boss has been very impressed so far!
