Regarding the analytics available with BriefCam, it sounds like you're already up to speed on what's available with XProtect versus XProtect + BriefCam. What do you like best about XProtect?

I have tried different software over the years and i found milestone to be best fit and most reliable among all for securing the work site .It has equipped with most advance features including object detecting and Artificial intelligence based search sysyem. Dashboard is very user friendly and has collaboration system available which is just perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about XProtect?

Nothing caused us problem in our working. It comes with lots of feature so it has a bit of learning curve other than that its a great platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about XProtect?

I find it easy to use , storage, cameras, functionality all there in the management system and how easy it is to update and keep a check on all the CCTV being used in the surveillance system .Support is outstanding as well we have a premium service account . What do you dislike about XProtect?

One minor point is that there is a bit of a learning curve to fully utilize all of the advanced features and minor buggy functionality make it slight to use. But with this tool we find no issue in our working time although customizations can be made more easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about XProtect?

What do you dislike about XProtect?

We have had some issues in the past where streams would timeout and not reconnect. A large effort was spent finding a solution to this. Fix ended up being using a much older Smart Client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about XProtect?

Ease of use, storage, cameras, functionality all there in the Management Client.

Easy to add users, AD groups to Roles and these Roles is easy to devout specific cameras to each individual Role.

Support is outstanding as well, we have a Premium service account though which may sway support for our company I suspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about XProtect?

If your system has many cameras (150 or more) finding it is difficult thru the Servers-->Recording Servers--> Recording Server Name

And using that Floating Filter above the Recording Server is painful as it is movable and after initializing will not return back to default unless reverting to "Reset Application Layout" then closing and reopening the Management Client.

Also I used to use the Management Client "System Monitor" to view which cameras are using the most disk space... Now after viewing it I cannot double click "Used Space" and have it auto sort by the lowest or even the highest metrics. I have to export it to an Excel spreadsheet to do that. What do you like best about XProtect?

Milestone software has become our favorite security management tool which we get so comfortable on using it due to its modern yet lightweight on our medium spec devices without causing crash or something which is our favourite thing. I like its straight forward analytics and customization features for creating combinations of devices for our different zones in company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about XProtect?
