It is designed for organizations that manage customer projects, government contracts, professional-services engagements, internal initiatives, and complex delivery programs requiring visibility across schedules, resources, budgets, risks, deliverables, and financial performance. The Workspace provides project managers and authorized team members with a connected operating view of project work. Users can organize projects into tasks, subtasks, milestones, phases, and other work structures while maintaining responsibility, dates, dependencies, budgets, status, supporting documents, and progress information. Interactive schedules and Gantt views help teams understand sequencing, dependencies, milestones, schedule movement, and potential delivery conflicts. Project managers can evaluate whether work is progressing as expected and identify tasks that may affect critical milestones or contractual commitments. The Workspace also supports resource and workforce planning. Project managers can review assigned personnel, availability, skills, labor categories, utilization, and project requirements. xpdAI can assist in identifying potential staffing gaps, schedule risks, conflicting assignments, and suitable personnel based on available workforce information and authorized business rules. Because xpdProject is connected to the broader xpdOffice platform, project activity does not remain isolated from the rest of the organization. Project schedules can be connected with contract periods, CLINs, funding, labor, expenses, deliverables, invoices, customer commitments, and financial results. Key capabilities include: Project portfolios and project workspaces Work breakdown structures, tasks, and milestones Interactive Gantt charts and schedule intelligence Dependencies, critical activities, and delivery risks Resource assignments and workforce availability Skills- and labor-category-based staffing support Budgets, actual costs, forecasts, and variance analysis Status reporting and progress tracking Deliverables, documents, issues, risks, and decisions Time, expense, contract, and financial integration Role-aware dashboards and project Command Centers xpdAI analysis, recommendations, and governed actions xpdProject Workspace helps project managers move beyond manually assembled status reports and disconnected scheduling tools. It provides a shared operational environment where schedule, staffing, delivery, contractual, and financial information can be evaluated together. The result is greater visibility into project health, earlier identification of risks, more informed staffing and delivery decisions, and stronger alignment among project teams, executives, customers, contracts, and finance.
