XLSTAT enables sensory data analysis much more seamless with just clicks, in comparison to other statistical software that does not offer sensory-directed analysis. **What do you dislike about XLSTAT?** High pricing, even for student license. Other than that, XLSTAT does not enable multidevice login since the license is attached to only 1 device. **What problems is XLSTAT solving and how is that benefiting you?** Direct sensory data analysis, offering more insights on the sensory data obtained. ### 2. The ease of importing data from different file formats and the use of the Microsoft Excel platform is excellent, both for compatibility issues and for ease and familiarity of use **What do you dislike about XLSTAT?** The vastness of options and settings available for each statistical test requires a high level of knowledge of statistics. At the same time, using the manual is not so immediate and the explanations are often quite detailed. Among the outputs, the vastness of data offered makes usability and the speed of searching for the requested result complex **What problems is XLSTAT solving and how is that benefiting you?** ANOVA: basic and fundamental test for comparing more set of data. In food sensory analys, data set from panel evaluation of more product compared between each other is a routin analsys. XL stat perform it very quickly and with a large offers of options to set the power of the test Predictive Analytics: it supports predictive modeling, allowing to forecast future trends and outcomes based on historical data. In food analys field it is very helpful to estimate the shelf life of a product based on a specific attribute under evaluation Survival Analysis: for the food product shelf-life it useful for studying the duration of events and evaluating the impact of variables on survival over time ### 3. Then, it's the set of features that take advantage of both Xlstat and the Excel engine. Finally, the feature menus are easily accessible and the use is very intuitive. **What do you dislike about XLSTAT?** Due to the fact that the application is linked to Excel, depending on the amount of analysis, it can be resource-intensive. **What problems is XLSTAT solving and how is that benefiting you?** Xlstat offers easily accessible and powerful statistical tools, which save us from developing macros (VBA) that could be tedious and cumbersome, and potentially complicated to evolve with Excel. ### 4. Users therefore can add datasets with ease without overly trying to figure out input formats as in other software types. A license can be purchased for multiple users making the software accessible to teams that need to work efficiently. Graphs are generated in familiar formats and can still be edited to the desired appeal. **What do you dislike about XLSTAT?** The help guides are sometimes not as intuitive as one would hope. There are sometimes issues with the tools crashing due to macros conflicts or ram requirements in larger excel sheets. A perpetual license does not offer free or lower rates on updated versions. **What problems is XLSTAT solving and how is that benefiting you?** We primarily use Xlstat for analysis of environmental chemistry data for and after and activity - to determine if a post-activity levels are significantly different. Xlstat introduces stats in a familiar environment and provides output with text explaining the stat results. You can also toggle between a simple test significance result output or the full array of variance, coefficients etc. ### 6. What would help is if there will be video instructions with examples. **Recommendations to others considering XLSTAT:** Check out the XLSTAT website, there are many great contents with clear instruction of use for the tool. **What problems is XLSTAT solving and how is that benefiting you?** User friendly.
