Because Salesforce storage is expensive, we needed a simple solution to transfer and access them on a platform that we have more (inexpensive) storage on, and since we are already in the Microsoft ecosystem, archiving to Sharepoint was a perfect solution. XFilesPro is pretty simple to use for this purpose and the support staff was very responsive to help us get both Salesforce and Microsoft 365 Sharepoint configured for our files. The downsides are that it does require individual licensing to see the files stored in Sharepoint via the Salesforce app, but unlicensed users can still fairly quickly access the files directly through our Sharepoint site/fileshare.
