I use Xfce Desktop Environment with my Ubuntu Linux system on my Chromebook. I love how fast and simple Xfce is. Chromebooks aren't very powerful machines, so I needed something that wouldn't bog down my system. Xfce is the perfect match. I feel like Unity or KDE are a lot more user friendly as far as setting up shortcuts or visually tweaking how things look.
