"Perfect blend of ease of use and powerful capabilities with enterprise grade infrasructure"
5/5
What do you like best about Xano?

Xano is the quickest way to spin up an API, but at the same time there are deep capabilities to handle as much complexity as you need. Everything can be visually edited so there's no coding necessary. The fundamentals of the platform however are grounded in programming logic, so as a user progresses they're learning valuable logic that is useful everywhere. If you run into a situation where coding is preferred, Xano has built in escape hatches to utilize code as well.

There's no faster way for me to setup a Postgres database and API for a client, knowing that everything is built on industry best practices and enterprise grade infrastructure.

The support team and community at Xano is top notch and always there to help out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xano?

Integrating Xano into a traditional Git / code based workflow can still be challenging at times. While there is a version control system built into Xano, its quite limited on basic plans and can cause some frustration when pushing changes in a production environment. "Since I started working with XANO my process has significantly improved!"
5/5
What do you like best about Xano?

Xano is a platform that solves the biggest problems a provider like I am is having.

I am one of the founders of Deploy, a software development company based in Israel.

We mostly use no-code tools in order to create our clients their dream products.

Before xano, we had to use an outdated, quite slow and unreliable backend infrastructure that was mostly built by companies that do "a bit of everything " and that doesn't concentrate on backend only. That's why, sometimes, the speed and process was a mess and some of our clients were disappointed by it.

And then, we have discovered Xano, and our lives changed for good! Xano's no code backend builder helps us build good and reliable backend solutions for our customers, a backend we can trust and a backend so fast that the clients just have that WOW effect.

I can't stress enough about how Xano has been a huge lifesaver.

To sum up, Xano is the best no-code backend builder out there, and some would say, the best online backend builder.

I highly recommend using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xano?

Xano is great but it has it's learning curve. For those of you who are afraid of learning a new platform, it's ok.

Xano is not an easy platform to master but it is one that really worth learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Xano is an excellent and powerful product with even better customer service!"
5/5
What do you like best about Xano?

Xano has all the technical capabilitites I need in a sleek UI and inituitive UX. It makes even full stack/backend first timers feel confident and capable! In addition, what brought me to Xano in the first place was its integrations which work amazingly well. Lastly, its customer service with access to office hours 2x week has been incredibly helpful! What do you dislike about Xano?

Nothing! Serisouly nothing really comes to mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Literally No Better Customer Experience Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Xano?

The team is so helpful. They literally took me from knowing nothing about a no-code backend to being able to integrate a new ticketing partner. Additionally, the product is so customizable that it can perform any task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xano?

The only downside is that there's a somewhat high learning curve. This is to be expected, given how powerful the tool is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hands down, Xano is the BEST no-code backend product ever!"
5/5
What do you like best about Xano?

Xano is hands down the best no-code backend product ever! It has empowered someone like me, a non-coder, to create incredibly complex solutions within just a few days. It's really user-friendly and intuitive, and once you grasp its concepts, you can accomplish even the most intricate backend tasks imaginable. I'm thrilled about the possibilities that lie ahead with Xano, and I'm extremely grateful for how it has transformed my business and my life.

I want to extend a huge shoutout to Lesa from the Xano support team for her exceptional assistance. She not only helped me understand Xano functions but also went above and beyond by creating incredibly helpful Loom videos. Lesa, you're absolutely incredible! What do you dislike about Xano?

There's absolutely nothing that I dislike about Xano. It's the BEST!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best No-Code Backend application available on the market!"
5/5
What do you like best about Xano?

Our agency uses Xano on a daily basis and we are huge fans. Xano makes it really easy to set up scalable backends and connect those with various front end solutions. We mostly use the connection to Bubble.io and Weweb.com and the setup is done quickly. The builder itself is very intutive and you can set up database structures and api endoints in just a few minutes. Even with very complex endpoints and big database tables (1+ million recods) the peformance is outstanding. The team behind Xano is pushing updates very regulary and are doing a great job. Also had the pleasure to meet them in person at the NoCode Summit and they took plenty of time to answer all our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xano?

To be honest, there is nothing we`re missing right now. We only had a few support requests over years and the team was helping out very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Most productive backend solution, even for coders & regular DB admin"
5/5
What do you like best about Xano?

With more than 30 years of experience as a DB admin, i've seen many DB solutions and tools to manage them. With Xano, i found one of the best integration for db design, development and API system.

Because of its ease of use, ease of implementation and ease of integration, you don't need to be a DB admin to create and make performant app backends. This very same ease of use or the number of features don't lower its performances. And its DB management approach makes it fully understandable.

Moreover, they have an awesome Customer and Developer Support: always efficiently listening & reactive, providing solutions everytime you need. And last but not least, the community is amazing and very alive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xano?

Actually (as of Jan 2024), the thing that i lack the most on Xano, is a better Visual DB management tool plus few features to manage functions (copy/paste functions/function blocks between API Endpoints, ...) in function stack.

BUT, this comment will become quickly obsolete as you read it, due to their incredible fast rate to publish new releases and improve their editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best of both world for developers and nocoders"
5/5
What do you like best about Xano?

What makes Xano strong is his versatility. You can carry out small projects quickly and move as quickly as possible towards a stable solution or, on the contrary, build sustainable and scalable software architectures for large-scale projects with a high level of expected scalability and maintainability. Getting to grips with the function stack and database tools is quick for a beginner but the possibilities are still almost limitless for an expert. The product evolves often and offers more and more features that are closer to a complete traditional backend development stack. Everything is done so that an entrepreneur is in a managed and secure environment without having to ask questions, while respecting the high standards of customization and adaptation that a large company may require. The best of both worlds for developers and nocoders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xano?

It would lack an advanced integrated exploitability and observability system. Where a development team would turn to an ELK stack, someone who does not master the concept or who wants to have their complete backend in the same place ends up with only the dashboard or their own personalized log management. This answers in the majority of cases but there may be something to suggest on this subject. The partnership with ncscale is also a great step in this direction and the functions already dedicated do not currently leave us without answers either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bad Customer support and Unstable Platform"
1/5
What do you like best about Xano?

- It's easy to implement no-code simple database and APIs

- They have a great freemium tier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xano?

- Customer support doesn't listen to the problem when more complexe, if not simple they suggest solution that require a lot of work even when the fault is their due to a bug on an update and jump to conclusion even when proven otherwise

- Customer support jump too easily to ask to pay more money to upgrade the tier, even when that don't work

- Some simple function take a lot of time to implement due to the current no-code interface

- The system is not stable and require a constant developer to maintain the architecture when they do updated

- The system handle badly when need to update a whole data table (Even just 200,000 datas) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Chris Coleman of Xano

Hi, Jonathan! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry to hear about your issues with both the platform and our customer support team. We are very much aware of how frustrating this can be, especially when you rely on Xano to power your business.

I appreciate your feedback on your experience with our support team; this type of feedback is crucial when improving how we can continue to provide great high-touch support to our users. I can assure you that while we don't always get it right 100% of the time, our support team has a very regimented and thorough approach to troubleshooting issues when they are reported, including a systematized SOP for involving other teams (such as our product or engineering teams). As the complexity of the issue grows, the time that it takes to resolve an issue can grow along with it, and we appreciate your patience as we work through all the necessary steps to come to a resolution.

Your currently ongoing conversation with our support team is still at top of mind, and we're doing everything we can to get you back on track, including working directly with our engineering team to explore any unreported issues with the platform itself that are surfaced by your specific use case.

We look forward to bringing a resolution to your current issue, and welcome more feedback from you as you continue to use Xano!

Best,

Chris Coleman
