Productivity suffers dramatically when utilizing various software options to complete various tasks that could otherwise be completed in a more Streamlined process like Incent. This makes training, and absorbing of that training more efficient and productive. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** The only thing that comes to mind, is that sometimes many options can be counterproductive or confusing. Not to say that once utilizing, I may experience this. But I believe there could be a challenge in ensuring that folks are using Incent for the appropriate functions and knowing about the capabilities that they do have access to. I believe it could be helpful to provide exemplary cases or processes that have been implemented in an effort to display the functions, capabilities and usefulness of incent. **What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous model relied on our CRM to present the information to us in a complicated manner that was scattered amongst many different dashboards/displays and had to be configured uniquely to display or demonstrate the results we were trying to see. It's solid at giving me the info that I need, I guess. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** It seems overly clunky and as I said in the "likes" about Xactly, I'm not 100% sure whether my issues are with the actual product or how it was implemented in my organization. I find that it's often difficult to navigate to find the numbers that I'm looking for. I often have to wade through multiple steps, just to find a basic report (ie. Monthly Commission). I have also found it annoying that I can't just view a document and always have to download it every time. Nitpicky? It is easy to use, user friendly. It keeps track of all the bookings and payments made on particular orders. We have split assignments as well as various lines of business - which are brought in from SFDC, and Xactly Incent module is able to complete the calculations and the analytics module provides the reports that are used by our leaders. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** In the heirarchy work space, when one person needs a version, the version needs to created for all. when you search for a person for the Incent statement, the "enter" key does not work - you need to select the populated person under the search bar. **What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?** It keeps track of the attainmnet percentages. It is acpable of paying at an accelerated rate when people reach different levels of attainment. It can prorate the payment based on the incent start date. I really love the Search Orders and Results. Makes it easy to pull the data from the site in order to understand how the engine is calculating the results. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** 2 big issues we have run into: 1) Unreleasing released commissions. It took us way too long in order to figure out and understand how to do so. And the time that we did it without uploading a template...I can't even recall how we solved that issue. Probably had to call customer support for that. This process should be more intuitive than it currently is. 2) The new UI changes. Last year we were told the old UI was going away and we panicked because the new UI was not only new and unfamiliar, but it also lacked the functionality of the old UI. The Heirarachy data pulls wouldn't work and I just couldn't understand why Xactly would push such a buggy UX on your customers. Perhaps to attract new users with a flashy update? It allows me to reverse-engineer my goals every quarter and adjust where I fall short. As someone who's never had access to Xactly (or any tool like it) being able to see this data that's available to me 24/7 is a game changer IMO. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** It took me a while to get used to the UI so that could be an area of improvement. I like Community for a quick lookup but if there is something complex. There are multiple ways of handling currencies in a global salesforce. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** I would like capability to open multiple screens of Xactly at a time. Navigating around some screens can be annoying. For example, if I drill to payment details, there is no way to map back to the incentive statement page without clicking back on the position record. Essentially starting over. I sometimes want to look at something real quickly in Xactly. Lack of full scrolling means that I need to download a file extract and open it up in Google Sheets. It is not hard but adds additional steps and takes up time out of the day when repeated multiple times over the week. **Recommendations to others considering Xactly:** When building out the solution, design it with the desired layout, even if your org is not there yet. **What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?** At the moment, commission processing and some analytics. The longevity of using this product within our organization practically speaks for itself. We process approx 10 million in compensation across four countries, and what I appreciate most is the ease of use and our ability to manage the software internally. Incent processes compensation efficiently and accurately. Handling complex comp plans as seamlessly as simple ones. I appreciate that the company continues to take feedback from its users and innovate new products designed with clients in mind. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** I wish the end-user experience were better. We have issues with partners that struggle with login issues. In particular, if a partner has multiple instances of Incent or does not log in frequently. I find setting up Analytics reports and Dashboards to be cumbersome. Incent performs well as a reporting layer for small/medium businesses, providing clear visibility to the field and finance. As a sales team, you can slice/dice commission results to track rep performance/attainment against goals. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** As a large enterprise, the platform requires significant investment. Some of the required information exists in other systems/sources that Connect may not easily fetch. Some of the processes (setting up plans and maintaining people) need extensions and customizations. At some point, using the UI becomes too tedious and using the data loader upload is too risky.
