**What do you like best about Xactly?**

I like Xactly for the ability to automate our entire process, which really cuts our processing time down. I'm also excited about moving into AI in the near future.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

We have trouble with the credit assignment rules. Yes. We have issues with the current assignment tool. And complex rules.

**Recommendations to others considering Xactly:**

Xactly is a great tool and beneficial to both the admins and end users (sales reps & managers).  Implementation can be lenghty, but is well worth it.  If ever you run into a problem, they have an incredible support team that is always more than willing to help make iit right or help you understand what's needed to fix the issue.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xactly eliminates all the manual work we have to do, automates our entire process, and cuts down our processing time.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

I like Xactly's ease of use in the UI, which is very intuitive and easy to use. I'm also excited about the upcoming AI changes, as they will allow me to produce additional reports for the teams and leadership.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

Analytics is difficult, especially reports based on hierarchy. If someone is not in the hierarchy, they are not included in the analytics reports.

**Recommendations to others considering Xactly:**

Employees of Xactly are great to work with. They are very knowledgeable. The Xactly product eliminates the use of shadow accounting by sales employees. It also provides real-time views into what the employee will get paid prior to the end of the month. 

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Xactly to automate the commission process, moving away from manual Excel calculations, which simplifies our workflow.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

I like Xactly for its transparency and analytics in reporting. It helps me keep track of sales incentive payments and provides transparency for the sales teams to see their progress in real-time. Xactly is valuable because it assists with data management for executives and reduces the workload of manual reporting by channeling reports to the sales team, ensuring they get the monthly information they need.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

It's a very hierarchy-based tool. It would be great to have some features that allow for individual reporting or formatting. Reports are channeled by title, but I have some sales managers looking to see their report a certain way. This can't be done because then it will affect other team members.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Xactly to track sales incentive payments, offering transparency for the team to monitor their progress and aiding executives with necessary contract and commission reports. It streamlines data management and reduces manual reporting workload by channeling reports to the sales team.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

Xactly Incent is a cloud-based sales compensation management software designed to streamline the design, implementation, and management of incentive programs. It's particularly beneficial for organizations aiming to automate complex commission structures and provide transparency to their sales teams. Key Strengths: 1) Accurate and Transparent Calculations: The platform is praised for delivering precise commission calculations, reducing errors associated with manual processes. 2)Integration Capabilities: Xactly Incent integrates seamlessly with various systems like Salesforce CRM, enhancing its utility in diverse IT environments. 3) Customer Support: They have been doing a really great job in getting back to me about my questions related to the software. 5) They have Xactly Universities to provide lots of courses and resources to educate this software administrators, I really like this knowledge base keeps me updated and constantly learning new applications and automations. 6) Xactly have been working hard for 20 years in the Sales Compensation Software field and constantly improve their software, this persistence earns respect.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

1) "Reporting" application has been lunched recently. I want to get to know more about it. But having an application to provide and manage commission insights is very important to guide business side to make positive changes. 2)Backend tables should generate same report file type, either .CSV or .xlsx, I know when I download Balances Report, it is used Excel 97-2003 Workbook.xls. From consistency perspective, hope this will be updated to .xlsx or csv.

Xactly Incent is generating correct commission results monthly and quarterly, that will benefit payment accuracy, which is very important.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

I really like the visibility Xactly provides, especially since it interfaces with Salesforce. Our sales reps can see their statements update every day and have their commissions calculated overnight, which is a big plus. They can also submit inquiries immediately. Personally, it's made a huge difference in saving me manual work by eliminating the need to calculate everything with spreadsheets and manually pull data. It's been great for us and has saved us a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

I mean, with all the, you know, clarity for the sales reps, there's a lot of, you know, back end, updating. So, you know, that's the one downside, but you know, it's still would take that any day over what we used to do.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xactly saves time by replacing manual calculations and spreadsheets, and it improves commission visibility. Sales reps can audit statements and see daily commission updates, cutting down on manual work. It's been great for us, streamlining everything.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

In Excel, It was very difficult for us to provide the backup to our reps due to the enormous size of the reports and having to tie all those lines back to the commission amount was a chore.  Incent provides a very clean list that I can rely on.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

I would like to see some built in error codes.  If you forget a step when adding a new person or all the pieces of your formula are not laid out right I wish Incent would give a bit of a warning.  That would make tracing my steps to find the mistake much faster.

Use the in-house team for implementation

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're now able to more easily run keep track charge backs are their origination.  Previously this was problem.  We've now brought in all the necessary data from our systems to look at the transition in its entirety.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

I like that I can recalculate a month if there's a change. It allows me to go in, make the necessary changes, and have everything reload where it needs to be. This feature lets me handle changes that happen in the middle of the month, allowing me to correct things before the month closes.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

The reporting had trouble getting the right reports or the reports that we need. And kinda learning how to do that. It was a little hard as we had trouble getting initially our data into the system. And so that kinda slowed down the learning curve and some of the things that we wanna to try when we were in an implementation. And training.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xactly keeps our commission payouts accurate, with less manual work, and allows me to recalculate and update changes easily, keeping everything in place.

I really like how Xactly makes it easy to compare my monthly commissions. It helps me see how much I'm getting paid and how it stacks up against other months. This visibility into my earnings is something I find really valuable. The initial setup was also easy for me because I didn't have to do anything to set it up.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

The way that we reach Xactly with Okta or Salesforce can be time-consuming. It takes a while to find the right page and navigate to your commission. I feel the website could be formatted a lot better and more simply. I would probably rate it a five because I feel there are other types of software where you can have a better understanding of your commission each month and access it more easily with a better user interface.

Xactly solves the problem of a lack of visibility with my commission payouts, letting me track my earnings monthly and compare them across different months.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

I’ve always liked how Xactly gives me one-click visibility into my numbers, but the recent updates have really changed the game. It feels less like a spreadsheet and more like a coach. What I’m loving most is the 'predictive' side—it actually flags risks in my deals before they happen and lets me simulate commissions just by asking a quick question. It’s basically killed my need for 'shadow accounting' because the 'what-if' calculators and automated disputes do all the heavy lifting for me now.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

I really appreciate the power Xactly has, but the interface can still feel a little intimidating. Now that we have these cool AI agents, the gap between the modern 'chat' experience and the older-school reporting tables is pretty noticeable. I’d love to see a total UI refresh that makes the manual parts of the platform feel as fast and 'fresh' as the automated ones. Right now, it still feels like a powerful enterprise tool that’s trying to learn how to be user-friendly.

Pipeline view, lead score, lead velocity, optimal view, insight on all aspects of the lead. Strategically plan the sales cycle and execute the same. Takes less time than using excel or other alternatives,

I like Xactly for its ease of use. The new reporting plan docs are also something I appreciate, especially because I don't need to send them via email, which is convenient.

I find the analytics in Xactly hard to use.

Try and be as involved as possible when going trhough implementation and plan design.  If you don't know how the consultant has written your plan rules, it may take some time to get up to speed and troubleshoot issues.

I like that Xactly Incent gives me clear, transparent visibility into sales compensation. It handles complex comp plans reliably and reduces manual calculations and errors. Both reps and leadership can easily track earnings, quotas, and performance, which builds trust and minimizes compensation disputes. The automation and reporting also save a significant amount of time and make the process much more scalable.

I find that Xactly Incent can be complex to configure and maintain, especially when compensation plans or hierarchies change. Some reports and workflows are not as intuitive as they could be, and more advanced changes often require admin support. There’s also a learning curve for new users, but the platform works well once it’s fully set up.

I really like the seamless integration of Xactly with our compensation plans and other platforms. It helps our small team of four people get the work of ten people done within a quarterly basis. We are currently using the analytic side of Xactly and we really like using it.

We are currently using the analytic side of the Xactly application and we really like using it and we don't wanna have to switch to reporting and pay for Extend. There are a lot of features in analytics that can be done without having to use reporting or Extend.

Xactly handles employee incentives efficiently and integrates seamlessly with our comp plans and other platforms, enabling our small team to achieve the output of a much larger team.

The platform is strict in regards to how certain things need to be implemented. For example, only having one active hierarchy at a time. I cannot have a reporting hierarchy and a crediting hierarchy at the same time. Xactly is a new tool for us and requires a learning curve.

I use Xactly Incent to build and automate our sales compensation plans, which helps us process a high volume of data quickly. I really like the ability to build customizations for complex scenarios. Each company is different, and many times leads have ideas that are not natively available in Incent, but through custom queries and formulas, nearly everything is possible. Although the initial setup was complex, I have found a passion in learning the ins and outs of the tool.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

PPP reporting challenges with showing reps retroactive changes. Balance carry forward payments do not maintain the earning groups.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Xactly to process high volumes of data quickly and to retroactively make corrections, which simplifies sales compensation plans.

I really like the ease of use and flexibility of Xactly, along with its low programming requirements. It has been valuable in providing real-time sales and payment data. Transitioning from Callidus to Xactly was a positive change due to how straightforward and easy Xactly is to implement.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

The complexity of adding roles and compensation plans. Instead of users, roles, and different tabs needed, it should be simplified. Comp plans could be more of a menu-type product with choices to make simple plans.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

Xactly helps track sales commissions and payouts more effectively. Additionally, the tracker shows how much of the variable pay has been rolled out over the past year, helping the individual to know how much of their variable pay has been achieved over the year.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

There isn't anything to dislike but the layout and features have been the same for a while and few features and enhancements can be made on the UI/UX front.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xactly helps track sales commissions more effectively. As a member of the GTM team, understanding variable sales commissions enables us to determine how much of the Variable pay has been achieved, how much we can pursue, and how much has already been drawn. Also, the SPIFF commissions being tracked via Xactly help to determine what SPIFFs are being achieved and what are credited.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

As a sales rep, what I like best about Xactly Incent is the visibility and accuracy it gives me into my commissions. I can see exactly how my deals and performance translate into earnings without having to chase down finance or guess what my payout will be.

The real-time dashboards are super helpful, I can check progress against quota anytime, see how close I am to accelerators, and forecast my potential payout. It’s also great for motivation because everything is clear and updated automatically after deals close.

Overall, Xactly Incent saves me time, eliminates confusion, and builds trust in the comp process. I know my numbers are right, and that peace of mind lets me focus on selling. 

It integrates with Salesforce because once a deal is closed it's updated in Xactly. I probably access Xactly once a day to track my commissions and how I'm pacing towards my quota. 

It's very easy to use so I've not had to contact their support team but I've heard from our ops team that it was easy to set up and their support team is very responsive

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

Nothing. I love it because I love making money and I get to see what my commission will be once I close the deal. Can't dislike something that shows you money :)

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xactly Incent solves the biggest problem every sales rep faces, not knowing exactly how commissions are calculated or when they’ll hit. When you're not using Xactly it can be easy to lose track of deals, payouts, or changes to comp plans. I have full visibility into how every deal impacts my earnings in real time.

It’s also helped eliminate manual errors and end-of-quarter surprises. I can see my quota progress, accelerators, and expected payouts right in the dashboard, which saves me from chasing down spreadsheets or asking finance for updates.

Overall, it’s made the comp process way more transparent and trustworthy. I spend less time worrying about numbers and more time selling, knowing that what I see is accurate and up to date.

I've noticed that during peak times the app can be a little slower to load.  If you could allow a deeper level of customization that would be amazing.

After five years of Xactly usage, I continue to believe that its biggest downside is the significant time required to learn the product.

We are able to process quarterly incentives accurately and quickly.  This is saving us from having to make multiple adjusting payments after the fact.
