They also have Flights, which are similar to Snapchat Snaps or Instagram Stories, which disappear after a short period of time. **What do you dislike about X (Twitter)?** From an analytics perspective, Twitter lags behind Facebook. Their data exports take way too long to generate (especially over long time periods) and you cannot get demographic information (be it for paid or non-paid posts). They also don't provide much in the metrics of Flights either from what I have seen. Also, with content on Twitter, you have to publish it natively to the platform - meaning that if you have a video clip, you need to upload it directly to Twitter and tweet it out. They also don't account for sharing (retweets) in their analytics platform and you're not able to look at how much traffic you received from shares (only from the originator) which Facebook allows in their analytics platform. The other issue I have with Twitter is their content algorithm ranker. Sometimes it is hard to get a ton of consumption on tweets and there is a push to use their paid/promoted serivces to surface content to the top (though this is something that all social platforms do). **Recommendations to others considering X (Twitter):** I would recommend to others who are considering Twitter to have a very clear vision of what purpose it will serve, especially when it comes to content management and content sharing. There is so much content that can be repurposed on Twitter and it's ideal to keep Twitter a part of your mix since many use Twitter as a newspaper-like feed for brands they follow. **What problems is X (Twitter) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Twitter provides the ability to syndicate our content and increase our reach. We are also able to get metrics to help us fulfill our overall impression/media goals. Twitter provides a nice contrast between Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as well. We also have been using Twitter Amplify, which allows us to increase the reach of our brand clients and provides another avenue of better monetization across social (versus just doing promoted Tweets or doing boosting on Facebook/Instagram or paid video ads on YouTube). Twitter Amplify has been a mixed bag, however; the activations are not always as seamless and turnkey as we would like and they do have issues with trolls/community management (though every social platform has that issue to contend with). ### 33.
